Holiday rentals in Monplaisant

We enjoyed our stay at Jeff and Nancy's home in Belves. It's in a pleasant neighborhood, not far from the center of town. The street is located up a hill, so be prepared to walk up hill to reach their cute street. Also, be sure to rent a smaller car in order to park next to the entrance as the street is quite narrow. The house is nicely decorated and has the charm of south-western France. The view from the master bedroom is wonderful. The bathrooms are clean, the water pressure excellent, and the little outdoor sitting area quite lovely after a long day of exploring the region. The Aquitaine is welcoming and worth visiting any time of year.

We had a great week at Anne's. The accommodation is very well located, a few minutes walk to the village. In the house, everything is there to feel at home, with very comfortable bedding. A beautiful place that we will remember for a future visit!

House well located near sites to visit such as (Pouymessac, Lascaux, La Roque Gageac, Sarlat, Beynac...) within a radius of 30 km. Remember, absolute calm, not a sound, rest assured. Jean Claude's 2 dogs are very nice, we were very happy with their daily visit. As for Jean Claude, he is a very endearing person with whom it is good to talk, always available and makes us feel comfortable, gives us good advice for visiting, except for fishing! He doesn't reveal anything, he keeps his secret spots!! Jean Claude is passionate about bees, hunting, fishing, he also makes excellent honey. We enjoyed talking with him, he knows how to remain discreet. We will happily come back for the mushrooms! The 4 of the Doubs, Macvin country.

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. Great house. Very spacious, extremely well-equipped. Beautiful kitchen. Simply one of the best Airbnb we 'have been in! Highly recommend! Thanks you Anthony and Laurence for your hospitality!

Wow! There’s not many places you arrive at and you’re totally blow away. The pictures on the site don’t do justice to the amazing setting and the beautiful view of the river. Everything has been finished to such a high standard with great attention to detail. The kitchen is amazing, a professional chef wouldn’t be disappointed. The gardens look like they’ve been transported from Chelsea flower show. To wake up to the birds singing and surrounded by stunning views was a real treat.

The house was exactly what my group needed! The house was very cozy and comfortable with beautiful views. It offered communal areas for us to work/rest as a group as well as plenty of space to have time to ourselves. The village center was a very short walk away with a lot of wonderful restaurants to pick from. The house had fans in every bedroom which made it comfortable to sleep even with the first few days being on the warmer side. Christine was responsive when I had questions and was very friendly. Would highly recommend! Thank you Christine for a wonderful stay!

A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes.
