The space was just what we needed - so quiet, inviting, comfortable. And your recommendation of the Sparta Family Restaurant was perfect.

Cute little place and Michael was great! Very responsive and friendly!! We also enjoyed that there were soccer fields behind the house. We took our dogs to run and my daughter and I were able to go enjoy some time outside kicking the ball around.

My husband and I stayed here seeking a relaxing memorial day weekend. James's airbnb was hands down the best airbnb we have ever stayed with. From the moment we drove up the long, gravel driveway we fell in love with the breathtaking surroundings. Inside the home, we were struck with awe as we marveled at the amish-made construction, perfectly thought out details, and incredible amenities including a charming wood-burning fireplace, a wraparound upper balcony, and incredible stargazing opportunity. Not a single detail went unnoticed - we especially appreciated the bottle of wine and nightstand chocolates! We truly felt like we were at home, and strongly considered asking James to let us move in. The airbnb is a short drive to the Kickapoo River where we spent time kayaking, and a 30-minute drive to Cashton, WI where we enjoyed perusing the local amish shops. We will definitely be back, and next time we're bringing our bikes to explore the Sparta-Elroy bike trail!

Mélanie and Tom were an incredible welcome !! The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. The room and the rest of the house are very cozy and comfortable. We feel that Mélanie puts a lot of heart to receive people at her house, thank you again for the advice and tricks she could give me for my future trips to the United States. If you miss something, Mélanie will give herself body and soul to provide you! Thanks again to you two for these moments of sharing
