Monthly Rentals in Montara State Beach

We had a great anniversary. We are both recovering from injuries so we stayed put and had a very relaxing time. The hot tub kept good heat and had very comfy seats.

Stayed at Judy's place for three nights for the last part of our California vacation. The house is an easy drive from San Francisco (30-40 min, depending on traffic) so we got a chance to hang out at the Golden Gate park and do all the usual touristy things at Presidio (Pier 39, the GG bridge itself, etc.), but it also gave us a chance to explore some beautiful local places. Montara State Beach is small but nice; there are a lot of convenient overlooks and parking on the way to SF where one could stop and hike down to the beach and watch the dolphins (we saw a pod swimming by one day). Do visit the JV Fitzgerald marine reserve if you have time - it's only a 5 min drive, and it has a bunch of harbor seals hanging around! We saw about 40 adult seals and several pups, both as they were lounging on the beach and "porpoising" in the ocean. The house itself is pleasant, the garden is small but beautiful, and Judy is a very helpful and responsive host who made our stay very pleasant.

What a wonderful place to stay at near the coast in northern California! Beautiful and spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath home with all of the amenities one could ever need. Quiet and comfortable place. Felt like I was at home. One of the nicest Airbnb‘s my wife and I have ever stayed at with our children.

Andria’s place was great. Pictures do not do it justice .i have never seen a kitchen so equipped and high end appliances. The view is fabulous the yard is great the home is very comfortable and close to restaurants. Great sunsets.and very private and quiet. Never heard the traffic like others have noted.
