Lisa and Andy were great hosts. The house was comfortable and walking distance to the beach. Everything was as listed and hosts were responsive. Lots of great areas to hike nearby and awesome restaurants like “the Hideout”. Definitely recommend.

Place was great! Small, but that was great for us. Loved that it came with the bikes, surfboards, hot tub, fire pit, etc. we used everything! Evan was very responsive to questions and helpful with recommendations.

Jane’s place was a peaceful quaint spot for our weekend getaway. There’s a beautiful sunroof above the bed which gave great natural light, and the whole place had everything we needed and more, especially the kitchen, despite it size – even though we didn’t cook, in the case of a stay in night, we knew Jane’s kitchen was well equipped, same with the bathroom. Jane was very communicative throughout the whole weekend, with clear instructions on checking in and checking out. She was also very flexible with the check-in time, which we really appreciated. Overall, Jane’s space was a great spot to get away for the weekend and get out of town. Thanks again, Jane!

Marina and Erik were friendly and great hosts. They were warm and responsive. We had a very pleasant stay at their place.....lots of treats for. breakfast, very clean, comfy bed, nice hot shower, nice pots to cook with, unscented natural cleaning products throughout the house. We were there for a wedding and we have a very nice restful stay at their home. We didn't have time to explore the neighborhood or walk around though so I can't comment about that but the location is nice because it's near, Capitola and Aptos along with all that Santa Cruz has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay at Steve and Wendy’s place! The home was absolutely beautiful—tastefully decorated and very cozy. We really appreciated the dedicated parking spot, and the location was perfect—just a short walk or drive to all the places we wanted to explore in Carmel. Steve and Wendy were amazing hosts—super flexible with check-in and check-out times, and they even left us some treats, which was such a sweet surprise! Steve also gave us excellent recommendations for nearby breakfast and dinner spots. We’d love to stay here again on our next trip to the area!

The studio was clean, cozy, and very quiet and peaceful! It was easy to find and enter thanks to the host, who is very friendly and responsive. As we didn't have a car, we also appreciated how close the place is to a bus stop that goes directly to downtown Santa Cruz. We loved staying here for our weekend getaway in Santa Cruz and would highly recommend!

Perfect place for a quick little getaway in Carmel/Monterey Bay! Cynthia’s place was very comfortable and nicely furnished, with plenty of amenities ☺️ Not to mention, the place was close to downtown, the beach, restaurants, etc!!

Nice, clean place in Santa Cruz. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and having parking was a plus. The cons were that you can definitely hear the people upstairs and the pillows weren’t the best. Nonetheless, the Airbnb was super clean, the host was friendly, the bed was super comfortable, hot tub was clean, and the airbnb was stocked with everything you needed for your mini vacation. Don’t forget to say hello to the little rabbit at the front!

The location is a destination in and of itself! Gorgeous property with cozy and homey furnishings. The linens were fresh and smelled so good! Beautiful views everywhere you look inside the suite. They event out pillows in the bench next to the window so you can gaze and watch the sunset. My favorite part is the garden swing next to the orange tree. The hot tub is luxurious as well—great for a couples retreat or break from the busy city

Gabriel is a super friendly and responsive host. His home is nestled amongst the trees, and you really get to enjoy it with so many windows and sliding doors that open out to all the nature. The main room was perfect for our family and friends to hang out in. Short walk to Cat and Cloud for morning coffee, New Leaf for groceries, and Penny’s for some ice cream. For mobility, there are quite a few level changes and gravel paths to navigate, just fyi.

We had great stay at Binh’s place for a family retreat. It’s very clean and thoughtfully decorated. Located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, we were able to reach Monterey and Santa Cruz fairly easily. Binh is friendly, easy to communicate, and very available during our stay. I would recommend Binh’s place!

Small but very clean and quiet. Unlike many rentals, the flat screen TV worked perfectly and was set up to be enjoyed comfortably. We just needed a place to sleep at night and this place met our needs with zero issues.

Great spot and excellent hosts! Seeing Charlie the Golden next door was a lovely touch. His head toss and backward look with that smile warmed the heart. Thank you for the hospitality. Hot tub was great too. Spotless place.

This Airbnb was perfect for a little getaway! Close enough to downtown to explore but just far enough away to have some privacy! Christina was amazing in providing us recommendations about places to check out and ones to maybe avoid. I will be looking for another weekend to come and explore more in the future!

The place was as advertised. As was made clear in the listing, there is no kitchenette but we were able to use the microwave to heat stuff up. Plenty of utensils, dishes and glasses were provided. The soaking tub was also nice after a day of hiking. The location is very central to the area and it was easy to get everywhere. The host had a lot of great recommendations for places to eat which was helpful. All and all, a very quiet, cosy, clean, and convenient place to stay. Would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

Dany is a wonderful host, very responsive and welcoming. Her place was built with love and taste and is a secret little hideaway. Very clean, spacious, comfortable with great light. One of those gems that is simple and open but cozy and easy to live in.

We a family of 4, in winter, so wet, cold, overcast weather (no views while there), could not use outdoor spaces (patios, balconies, yard). A working class neighborhood of Seaside- great restaurants, good shopping, short drive to Monterey area attractions. Bedrooms upstairs, 1 big bedroom with 2 queen beds, attached full bathroom. 2nd smaller bedroom also 2 queens, so have to walk through main bedroom to shower/bathe. Not bad, but u do have to deal with stairs, and privacy between the sleeping areas might be a concern for some. Downstairs main room is big but sparse. Cooktop, no oven. small microwave, toaster, full size fridge. One big sectional sofa and a coffee table. 1 other dining/side table for everything else. Host lets u use washer/dryer in garage free, BYO soap. Overall, nice stay for our winter vacation in Monterey. Host very responsive, very quick even small issues. Parking- street or half driveway, driveway blocked by other car some time. walls thin though-u hear next unit.

I had a great stay for a week of overnight work. The hosts were so nice! Gave me tips on places to go and even put an extra black out sheet on the door to accommodate my sleeping during the day. Had everything you need! Cute decorations. Comfy bed. I would stay here again absolutely

Himani was super sweet! She made sure she was available when we arrived to give us the keys then gave us a run down of the place. My husband and I stayed with our friend and her fiancé so it was perfect as there were 2 private bedrooms, each with a private entrance outside. Each couple had our own half restroom and shared a shower, so if you don’t mind that, this place is perfect! Super close to Capitola and seascape resort where we attended a wedding.

Awesome for kids! Our daughter couldn’t get enough of the bathroom and had so much fun! It’s conveniently located. Walk to the beach and near lots of good restaurants. Would absolutely stay again!

Hard to find a better priced place with this level of modernity and space. As others have mentioned it's a windy drive from highway 17, about 35 minutes from Santa Cruz, 20 minutes from Los Gatos (really cool town), and 30 minutes from San Jose. Of course, the semi-remote location is part of the appeal - redwood trees all around the yard, visible from inside the house, and all around beautiful steep terrain. The attached home is great - super comfortable couch in the living room, great bed in the bedroom, kitchenette and spacious bathroom.
