Fully renovated cottage in former stables

Located 2 km from the village of Montlouis-sur-Loire, on the Loire bike path, the "Joly gîte" was completely restored in 2021. It will be the perfect base from which to discover Touraine, the Loire, its castles, and its vineyards. You will be 20 minutes from the historic center of Tours, 10 minutes from Amboise and 45 minutes from Beauval Zoo. The 125 m2 cottage sleeps 8. Outside, you will enjoy two southwest-facing terraces, a petanque court and a 600 m2.

The Rock House

Our house is very atypical because it is semi-troglodyte. There is a very common characteristic in troglodyte houses, it is humidity... it is due to the absorption of small amounts of water continuously. So you have to dehumidify the air and heat it all year round. There is a courtyard in front and a large private park on the heights to relax with a picnic table and deck chairs. The car can be parked nearby.

The Gîte is inside the property but totally independent. You have access to the garden. It has a south-facing terrace without overlooking and another to the west, equipped with garden furniture. Guests can take advantage of the swimming pool depending on the weather conditions. We provide linens: sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and bath towels. You're in a cul-de-sac with no traffic. Great for resting!

It is located in a quiet hamlet, very close to the Loire, 3 km from the city center. Its location is ideal for a stopover on the Chemin de Compostelle or on the Loire Valley Cycling Tour or to discover the Châteaux de la Loire and its wines...
