Cottage holiday rentals in Montpon-Ménestérol

We LOVED our stay. The home is super stylish AND comfortable. Plus, it’s very private. We felt like we had our own home in the vineyards, away from *everything* (although you can still drive to Saint Emillion in 30 minutes or Bordeaux in around an hour). Karine also supplied everything you would need or want, including a speaker so you can hang out in the garden/hot tub and listen to music, which we did most of the time 😅 Overall I can’t recommend it enough. We actually hope to come back and stay because we enjoyed our week there so much!

We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

We had chosen Aude's apartment for its proximity to the highway, without any noise inconvenience, the environment is very quiet. We arrived later than expected, around 10pm but were hosted very well! The listing matched the photos, easy to find, and Aude was very responsive. The umbrella bed had already been mounted. In short, a quick and relaxing stopover on the holiday route! Thank you again

We have just had a jolly spiffing holiday at Petit Grange! Monpazier is of course as beautiful as ever and the beer at Biere De Las Bastide still as quaffable, and all just 5 mins walk away! Petite Grange was perfect for our stay, having ample room to accommodate four adults. Everything you need has been thoughtfully included and all is clean and fresh as you'd expect from top notch hosts. Although we didn't try the pool or hottub (it being out of season) we found the garden and veranda offered both sunshine and shade, along with stunning views and a much-used BBQ, indeed if it wasn't such a beautiful area with much to see we could happily just hang out at Petite Grange - and will definitely return! An amazing home with a special mention for the kitchen (spacious, very well-equipped, a real pleasure to cook with the family). The accommodation is warm, the bedding very comfortable. It is spacious and tastefully decorated. We also appreciated having a bathroom for each room, the spa outside, the charm of the small village. Thanks also to Dominique, the person we were in contact with, who was responsive whenever we asked.

i think I've never rented such a clean place and what a pleasure! The house matches the description and even better than the photos. The kitchen equipment is top notch. We felt right at home and it's not easy! Quiet house but shops are 5 minutes away by car. We found the hot tub nice to spend the new year. Thanks to Pauline for his availability and hospitality. Relaxing and refreshing family stay. Do it again in summer for this time to take advantage of the swimming pool.

We had a fantastic family vacation and enjoyed the absolutely beautiful home, views and great amenities. The children especially enjoyed the swimming pool while the adults enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful views. We had everything we needed and the house was spacious and perfectly clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!!

We had a very nice stay with Sofie and Irm. After a long drive, we arrived very late in the evening, in the dark. Nevertheless, we were received with great kindness by Sofie and we immediately saw: this is a wonderful place. The gite is equipped with all comforts, is super clean and very nicely decorated. The grounds are very large, beautiful and definitely worth exploring. Monpazier is within walking distance of many good restaurants. Sofie and Irm are very sweet hosts. They are always up for a chat, give valuable tips, and gave us fresh eggs every few days. You can really see that they enjoy receiving guests and making them feel at home. The house was really beautiful and had a good size outdoor area which was great for sunbathing and relaxing. Katherine left us a welcome pack which included fresh croissants and bread, orange juice, milk, butter, jam and a very nice bottle of wine! Very much appreciated. Each room has a fan and the shutters keep the house nice and cool. The house is in a quiet location but perfect for exploring the Dordogne and Charente. A car is a must.

A really lovely place surrounded by vineyards and with easy access to local towns. Bordeaux is a 90 min drive through some charming villages. I brought my dog and she loved the fenced garden. She loved Jonathan too! In fact, both Jonathan and Lesley are the most welcoming, considerate, generous and helpful of hosts. I stayed for a few weeks and would return in a heartbeat.

A lovely private old cottage on beautiful grounds with a swimming pool. The cottage is fenced in, so the dog can run free in the garden. It has everything you need and is nice and cool on hot summer days. Patrick was so welcoming. We loved our stay here.

Fiona warmly welcomed us. She was available and flexible on the arrival and departure. The garden setting is sublime. A peaceful place to relax. We'll be back next year.

We had a wonderful stay in the house. The arrival was a little earlier and was no problem. Super friendly people who were always ready and responded immediately. The location was very quiet and enjoyable ! Definitely recommended for unwinding

Perfect stay at Lizzie and Pascal's. The place is beautiful and peaceful and the welcome is very friendly. Our little attic was very cozy and very pleasant! Perfect for our stay! The location is very central between Bergerac, Sarlat and Périgueux but also close to the beautiful different villages of the region. We had trouble leaving!

We had a great week at Christian's place. The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated, well-equipped, quiet. The garden is superb and very well maintained, itself surrounded by meadows and forests. A real slice of heaven. Christian is very discreet but super responsive. A nice meeting. Lots of places to visit within a 30 km perimeter, castles, caves, ruins, nature hikes to do ... Both parents and children were delighted with this stay. We'll be happy to go back. Thanks Christian!

What can I say! Katie and Matt's hospitality is exceptional. They were super flexible and met all our needs without us even having to ask. The small meals and breakfasts are a real plus, very appreciable, and it was delicious. A welcome that we will not forget. We will be back!

We had a great time, a soothing environment with breathtaking views. A cottage can be more pleasant, cozy and very well equipped. A wood burning stove that gives a real charm to the cottage as well as its pool. Our hostess's recommendations were good advice. A beautiful area that will easily fall in love with and a pleasant local population. Lots of places to visit all of great beauty.

We had a wonderful stay! It was a beautiful gîte -so idyllic, with clean, modern appliances and kitchen. The pool was clean and fresh, the outdoor seating was perfect and a great spot for a BBQ and the view was amazing! We’d recommend to anyone. It’s 15 mins drive from Bergerac, Eymet and Issigeac, so there’s plenty of picturesque French towns to visit around. It’s private and although there’s another gîte in site, we felt like we had the pool to ourselves! Balbina was also so accommodating with our baby - she provided cot and high chair. It was just perfect!

What a wonderful place, a little paradise! Wenxi and Laurent gave us a warm welcome, you immediately feel completely at home. The house and garden are incredibly charming, and equipped with everything you need. Our children enjoyed the swimming pool and the sweet pets. Top holiday!
