Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Montville

This is our second visit in the Recycle House. It’s such a lovely oasis. We love all the unique touches and creative uses of materials throughout the house. The location just steps from the charming town of Chester could not be better. The perfect CT weekend getaway!

We had a great stay at Stan's house. The house itself was lovely, the backyard was great, and the beds were very comfortable. It was very kid friendly and had toys and books that my toddler enjoyed. the location was great and we loved being walking distance to the seaport and downtown. We also appreciated the snacks waiting at the Airbnb after a long travel day. Would be happy to stay again in future!

We had a wonderful family stay a this home to visit some local kid attractions including the aquarium. Hope is a fantastic host - great communication, friendly and accommodating. The house itself was roomy for our group. It was clean and very well appointed with all the basics you need to be comfortable. The four king sized beds was really nice. No fighting over rooms! Our kids enjoyed the chalk and bubbles that were left outside and playing in the yard. The deck is also a nice space although we didn’t get to use it due to weather. I would definitely recommend this home.

This was our 2nd time staying here. It was just as nice as last year. So easy checking in and Patricia is great to deal with. The house is so relaxing and of course hearing and seeing the waves just melts away stress. I highly recommend staying here.

This house exceeded all expectations! It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and all the appliances were modern and easy to use. The bedrooms were cozy and the beds felt like sleeping on clouds. The hosts were responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

The house was great and we were able to get Ubers to go to dinner. Beautiful house and stocked with everything you would need. We were on a girls weekend and had trouble with the locks but we just used the key. It could have just been us. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the home.

The location of this home in downtown Mystic cannot be beat! Off the main road, yet easily walkable to fine dining and wonderful shopping along the river. The home is charming and quaint, yet contains all the amenities for a pleasant trip. Easy to check in and out! Also appreciated having a key code for access instead of an actual key to make it easier for family members to come and go separately. Would love to return to stay for a future trip to beautiful Mystic!

This house was PERFECT for us - four women returning to their college for their 45th reunion. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. The house was extremely comfortable. Carlos was responsive and helpful. We would definitely return to this house.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Barbara’s beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The house is full of charm and character, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect—peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to everything we wanted to explore. We especially loved the cozy fireplace, comfortable beds, and well-equipped kitchen. Barbara & Patty were incredibly responsive and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This was our 3rd time staying here and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful getaway. We’d definitely love to return in the future!

Ronnie & Brian’s place is awesome! Tons of space and very well maintained. Great location. They are very responsive and we will definitely be back!

Lynda was very friendly and accommodating. We booked the same day late morning and though she has a 24 hour in advance booking rule she was so very kind to prepare the place and welcomed us the same afternoon. It’s a quiet and peaceful place, clean and in easy reach for nice beaches and restaurants.

We were i. Town visiting family and Bob’s place checked all the boxes. It was clean, nearby to all the local towns while still being in a private location. Will definitely stay again next time I’m in town!

Wow!!! This is the nicest airbnb I have ever stayed in. The property is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by trees with lots of privacy. The cottage itself is immaculate (I’m very particular about cleanliness). The dining area is stunning with skylights and beautiful trees outside and great light! The hosts were also so welcoming and friendly, they included so many nice touches for my baby including a pack and play/travel crib, diaper changing area, and toys! I hope to stay here again every time we come to this area!

The place was beautiful and Gabrielle was so sweet and answered all of our questions! Thank you for having us! We will be back! :)

We had a great stay in Mystic over Father's Day and Joanne’s place was part of why it was a great weekend. Her place is minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown, and yet super woodsy. LOVED waking up and seeing the trees and listening to the birds in bed, which was quite comfortable and cozy. Inside was clean and comfortable, and the outdoor area looked like a fun place to hang out, however the weather didn't permit that. We were especially happy to have the electric wood heater in the unit to make it cozy since the weather was damp and cool. We also appreciated the very detailed instructions book which included nuts and bolts about the home, plus lots of other helpful info. A great place to stay!

Yosefa’s first floor unit was perfect for us. The living room/dining room at open to each other and the kitchen had everything we needed. Two bedrooms (larger one off the kitchen) were more than enough space for two adults and a child. We were able to fit the pack n play (which was provided!) in the bedroom by the queen bed. The bunk bed room was a bit tight but more than enough room to move around. Bathroom was pleasantly large. Only complaint was creaky floors… but that’s what you get with older homes. Location is great! Easy to walk into West Hartford Center and Blue Black Square. House is only a few houses from Farmington Ave, so great location if needing to commute downtown Hartford as well. Safe location!! Upstairs tenants were not bothers on at all. Heard them walking around a bit, that’s all! We are previous WeHa residents and were in town visiting friends for a birthday and will definitely rent again if needing housing while visiting.

We had a wonderful stay!! The lock was stuck upon check-in but the host called us (it was the middle of the night) and walked us through getting it open. She was so friendly and helpful! The place itself was perfect. Great kitchen, sleeping areas, clean and wonderfully decorated. Even with the lock issue, this was a 5 star stay and we have absolutely no complaints. We had 3 people and we felt like we had plenty of room. It’s also right down the street from the Mohegan Sun!!! So perfect place to stay if you want to visit the resort. You can’t get a better location. Also very quiet area.

This home was beautiful and exactly as described. The hostess was wonderful and very responsive. The location in east hampton in a quiet and peaceful street was close to all our favorite restaurants, shops and beaches. The hot tub was so great to have in the cold and rainy days. The home is chic, comfortable and clean. We loved it and recommend it.

We’ve stayed in many places over the years (domestic & international)…this may be the best place we’ve stayed in. Paul was fantastic - super friendly, extremely responsive and very helpful. I can’t recommend this property enough - the house itself is beautiful and spacious…plenty of (comfortable) seating throughout the house…bedrooms are big with king size beds…just an awesome experience all around. We were there for a college graduation - this property was absolutely ideal for big family get-aways/celebrations.

Immediately felt like we were on vacation! The house has amazing views! The lovely plantings inside and out were very “zen”. Loved the deck and the lower level walk out! It was extremely comforting to have the baby gates in all the right places having a 1 yr old grandbaby :) Both Wolfram and Brett were extremely responsive and Brett went beyond when we had a small issue. Definitely would love to return!

This place was perfect for my trip to the CT Barber Expo!! 3 minutes away from Mohegan sun which was perfect !! Super beautiful community peaceful clean and quiet. Truly found high class top tier spot for this trip . I’m beyond happy with my choice and would definitely pick this place again next year !!

Cute and cozy space for the 4 of us! The house was great to accommodate our family and this weekend’s events. Jana was a wonderful host, very responsive and proactive to a local power grid outage and made sure we were taken care of throughout the afternoon until power was restored. Very flexible in letting us check in an hour early as we arrived earlier than scheduled. Overall great experience and perfect host!

Wonderful Hidden location surrounded by nature. Very clean and welcoming home, would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect. The view of the water was everything and was accessible from nearly every room. The home was modern and easily accommodated our large group. Yet it was cozy and beautifully appointed with all the amenities you would ever want. It is ideal for children with every toy imaginable. There was a highchair and a pack and play for our toddler and child appropriate dishes. The kitchen was fully equipped and had 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers and 3 tables for dining. The beautiful pool and hot tub were in constant use. Mary is very thoughtful and assembled a ringed binder with important contacts and suggestions for dining, shopping and entertainment. Although there was no beach on the property there are nearby beaches. The towns of Guilford and (nearby) Madison are charming and well worth visiting. Mary was very accommodating and responded promptly to several inquiries.
