Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Moray Firth

Great place to stay, at high tide you feel like your right on the firth and at low tide there is a lot of area to walk. It's quite and peaceful, and was the perfect place for me and my family to relax whilst we explored Inverness, Loch Ness and the highlands

One of my favorite AirBnB locations we’ve ever stayed in! The natural light and back windows looking out to the Cairngorms were stunning. Not only is this home beautifully designed, but it has everything you need and is just minutes away from walking and biking trails. We found it to be the perfect location to have as a home base for taking day trips throughout the Highlands.

We travelled as a family and had a great time at Michele's home. It was thoughtfully stocked up and she provided detailed instructions for the check in check out. She was responsive when we had questions. Her place is beautiful and the views are gorgeous. Highly recommended!

What a gem this accommodation is, after a very long drive it was just what we needed. Very comfortable and very clean, I had the best nights sleep in ages. We highly recommend this property.

Emily’s apartment is beautiful. She is a wonderful host, her instructions were clear & to the point. The house is exactly as it is in the pics, its spotless.. 15mins walk to the city & the car park right outside was a blessing. Hope to return soon.

Sheila’s place is beautiful, clean and very close to all amenities. Sheila was very helpful and took time to show us the house etc. Sheila is always responsive. The house is nice and the decor was amazing. We cannot thank enough to Sheila for making our stay lovely and comfortable.

We felt welcomed into the space as soon as we walked in. The home was clean, had some games/puzzles to keep us entertained outside of screen time and was close to the areas of interest we had for our trip. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

The Ness Garden is an oasis away from home. Clean and bright and beautifully decorated. It is peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed our breakfasts on the patio in the garden. The bed is comfortable and the shower is specious with a rain head shower. The off street parking is very convenient. The location is perfect. A 15 -20 minute walk to the shops and coffee shops and restaurants along the beautiful Ness Walk. We visited Culloden Battlefield and the less touristy Loch Ness at Dores village and beach. We will definitely return here again during our next Scotland vacation. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Puffin parlour was a wonderful home away from home. Michelle was east to talk to and communicate with and provided many extra useful items within the flat. It was centrally located so was easy for us to walk to many of the local attractions and was also easy to get to train and bus stations. The flat was clean and well tended and big enough that we felt we had plenty of room to cook and relax.

A lovely, quiet street in the heart of bustling Inverness, very comfortable, good bed, wonderful shower, washing machine and an easy to use oven. Instructions were easy to understand for TV, and very good wifi. In a nutshell, everything we needed was provided. Highly recommend.

Beautifully presented accommodation! Everything we needed plus more! Bread and milk was a nice touch. Wonderful setting close to city centre and train station.

We enjoyed our stay here as Ruth’s place was as she described. The location is excellent and walkable to many sites. It’s clean and Ruth has made excellent use of the space - with nice touches such as seating areas, breakfast nooks, outdoor space and seating, many plug points, place to hang clothes, etc. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. Ruth gave helpful suggestions as to local places to eat and for sightseeing.

I was staying here whilst working in Inverness. It’s a nice quiet place plenty of parking, clean and nice neighbourhood. Nice little town close enough to Inverness. It has everything you need. Taste buds is a good sandwich shop down the road it has fresh Turkish bread sent up from Glasgow each day worth a visit. A good Chinese/thai takeaway in the high street is worth a visit too. The Co op on the high street is a 30 second walk as is the gym/swimming pool which you can pay to use.

After being in busy cities, it was a pleasure to stay at Leanne’s apartment with lovely views of Inverness. Good base to visit surrounding areas. Hopefully will be back again soon

We loved this apartment, great location close to river and easy walking to town. Beautiful modern apartment, well provisioned and lovely extra touches. Bed was comfortable and there were block out blinds for bedroom. Would highly recommend.

Freda’s place was exactly what we needed to unwind. Lovely, peaceful farm location - close to the picturesque, historical village of Beauly. Freda is a very friendly and generous host. The accommodation is spacious: bedroom, kitchenette (with washing machine & dryer), bedroom (comfy bed), bathroom and a sitting room with comfy couch and table/chairs. Free parking. Freda provides breakfast: cook your own eggs, juice, milk, toast/butter/jam, tea/coffee/biscuits. The microwave was handy for heating our ‘Tesco meal’. Highly recommend Freda’s place. A lovely experience!

Highly recommend booking this BnB! It was clean, quiet, and walkable to just about anything you could want. The host is very kind and provides thorough information about check-in, parking, etc.

Andrew’s place was a perfect base for a few days of hiking. It is a short walk to the train and bus, and there is a small grocery store even closer. The place was clean and had a nice modern kitchen. After our days of walking in the highlands, we appreciated showers or baths with lots of pressure and hot water. The idea of paying for the heat you use makes some sense too.

This place served as an excellent spot to walk to anything in Inverness and also allowed us some time to stay in, cook, do laundry, etc. An amazing space all around.

I stayed at Sandra's place with two friends from Friday to Monday and found it to be extremely pleasant! Good location, only a 15/20 minute walk to Inverness center. The apartment is lovely and we all felt right at home - absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks Sandra! :)

Good spot at a very reasonable price. Place was clean and sufficed for one night, though it was a bit of a squeeze for 3 adults. Location was decent but a bit of a walk from the center of Inverness (maybe 15-20 minutes). Overall would stay again and had no issues.

Small but very neat and tidy place with access to a kitchen and sitting area. Very close to the station and a good restaurants. Great value for money.

Very cute apartment that had everything we needed and as a bonus, there is a little grocery/convenience store within walking distance. Alistair was always quick to respond. We stayed here a few nights at the end of our wonderful trip to Scotland, due to its proximity to the airport.
