Cabana da Sara

The Cabana da Sara, completed in June '25, was designed and built by ourselves. Sustainability played a major role in this. We opted for many windows so that nature is always close by, even when you are sitting comfortably inside. The cottage is (ecologically) insulated and equipped with infrared heating, a pleasant and welcome warmth during the sometimes chilly North Portuguese winters. The cottage is located on our meadow, at the bottom of our property. You are surrounded by greenery and tranquility.

This is a unique space, with stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. Ideal for a weekend of adventure! Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. On the other hand, the sound of nature takes on a fantastic dimension, with the river water and birds surrounding us completely. Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.

Excellent for bathing, swimming, or simply walking along more than 2 km of the Cabril River. It is located about 2 km from the center of the village if you want to walk along the Roman road. The bungalow features a double bed with a unique view of the river, a kitchenette for light meals, a bathroom with shower, and a suspended deck.
