Fabulous property and perfect for our family of five. Very comfortable, we felt right at home, loved the furnishings and cozy beds. The location was very convenient to making day trips, close to groceries, and an easy drive to downtown Reykjavik. Nice views from the balcony, super quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Beyond our expectations! The house was perfect , clean, peaceful and felt like home. The host is so friendly and helpful and helped us feel settled right away. The Views were unbelievable! The Location was so nice for us as we were only in Iceland for 5 days but we got to visit so many places from Selfoss. I would go back in a heartbeat ! The apartment was very clean and cozy and in my opinion the location is very achievable in and out if you have a car and plan to take day trips in basically any direction. Kitchen i.e. had everything(and more) you need for cooking. Comfy sofa for relaxing after a long day out. Groceryshop is like 150m away and has a good selection of items including own section for vegan stuff. We had absolutely no issues during our residence here and would definately pick this one again in the future. Highly recommended

We had a great time in Ari’s property. Everything is perfect and fully equipped, it is a warm and beautiful place. We walked around and also feed horses, it was fun. We will definitely come again if we visit Iceland in the future.

Location was perfect for sightseeing near and far. The airbnb was very comfortable and warm with a well equipped kitchen. Trausti was a great host. I would highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even allowing us to check in super early. The house was spotless, and the host provided us with all the details about local events, making our visit even more enjoyable. Just a heads up—this is someone's home, so there were a couple of rooms with kids' toys that we had to keep an eye on to make sure our little ones didn't wander in. It wasn't an issue for us, but it's something to be mindful of if you're traveling with children. Overall, a perfect listing and we loved our time here!

The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, even leaving us a handwritten note and it was such a thoughtful touch. also the kitchen was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home. Being escaped from the coldness of iceland, heating worked perfectly, and the cozy, warm atmosphere made the place feel welcoming and comfortable after a day of exploring. The location was in a peaceful neighborhood, and the house was spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax. Staying here made our Iceland experience even more memorable !! This house is beautiful and the view is amazing. We loved soaking in the hot tub while gazing at the glacier in the distance, surrounded by trees. There are stairs to access the house, but we were able to navigate them just fine. The nearby town had a lovely spa, Laugarvatn Fontana, that we enjoyed, and we recommend the restaurant Linden. We stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The host was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for 3 weeks to study, so we rented the entire apartment. The location was perfect, lovely parks and an ice rink nearby, and only a short bus ride or 25 minute walk by the sea to downtown reykjavik. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook and clean. Hakon had loads or information left available on tours, bus routes, restaurants etc, that were very helpful. A home away from home.

Clean and beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The place felt remote but was near enough to Selfoss to make grocery shopping and eating out very convenient. The house was immaculate, very well equipped, and exactly as described. We were able to watch the northern lights from the beautiful deck and we were able to interact with the sweet horses on our way to and from the property. Edda was very communicative and explained everything very well. We would definitely stay here again!

Cabin was cute, cozy, and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Close to Golden Circle attractions and great restaurants in downtown Selfoss yet very peaceful and private. Wish we had more time to enjoy the outdoor space. Host was very responsive and friendly.

Birna’s place was such a cozy and welcoming spot! The location is perfect — just a short walk to a fantastic bakery and a grocery store, which made everything super convenient. The space was clean, comfortable, and had a really nice vibe. Plus, it comes with its own parking spot. I’d absolutely recommend staying here!

We booked the hut for the private geothermal hot tub and although it takes 1-2 hours to fill it was absolutely amazing! We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet, there is nothing else than a nice view and smell of pine with the sound of some birds around.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a great amount of space for our family to spread out after so much plane and car time. Comfy couch, lots of table space, free of clutter, soft beds, nice bathroom, kind host, close to grocery store, it was just what we needed and a good price.

We loved our stay. Hosts were quick and helpful in their responses. They left us some chocolates and champagne for our anniversary. The space was clean and more spacious than we originally thought, private and we felt right at home. My wife was sad we left! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
