The Seamist Cottage - Converted Historic Barn

Cozy, fully converted historic barn within easy walking distance to the rocky shore of Bass Harbor, a busy lobstering port. An ideal, pet friendly, home base while exploring Acadia National Park. The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! Two guests maximum, not a suitable space for children. Please keep allergies in mind when booking. No smoking.

Our house is spacious and cozy. Located conveniently away from the busy town, only a short trip to every location on the island. Small cul-de-sac neighborhood in private setting. 6 people hot tub, sauna , fire pit, swing.

Jack is also a licensed boat Captain through the U.S. Coast Guard and offers a discounted sail charter to our guests aboard our 36 ft. Catalina, Luna. Cottage 15 is a lovely rustic cottage with one king bed, a full bath with shower, A/C, mini-fridge, cable, television, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, coffee pot, microwave, and free Wi-Fi. As with all guests who join our Ohana, there is full access to the indoor kitchen downstairs in the main building, the outdoor kitchen and grill, full access to the common use hot tub, and the bonfire pit on the back lawn.
