Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mount Tabor, Portland

This was the perfect home base for our long weekend in Portland. Just a few steps away from Hawthorne Avenue full of great restaurants and shops. Also just a short walk to Laurelhurst Park and its off leash dog area. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Portland for the first or fiftieth time.

Such a great hidden gem! Walkable to restaurants, breweries, bars and parks. Parking right out front. Clean and well-organized space. Quiet back patio that catches amazing morning sunshine. 10/10 recommend. Check out hidden back patio at Great Notion Brewing- Matt’s BBQ tacos have a great breakfast menu there!

Gem of SE is right. Walkable to coffee shops and all of Hawthorne without being in the hussle. Air conditioning during a Portland summer, oh ya, theve got it! Very peaceful backyard. Felt secluded in the hot tub. This place is great! The shower is missing a door but other than that, everything was amazing.

Daniel is very communicative, which is definitely super helpful when I tried to figure out how to open the door and connect to wifi. The place is in a quiet neighbourhood. But keep in mind that there are people living / staying upstairs, which I was not aware of. During my stay, the neighbors were never loud or disrespectively, but since I am a light sleeper and wake up / fall back to sleep a few times at night, I could hear people walking at night. If you are a light sleeper too, pack ear plugs :)

Wonderful stay!! loved the bed and the shower the most! everything was cute, peaceful, and lots of thought into what a first timer in Portland would need.

We had a great stay at Eugenia’s. It was a quick trip and we weren’t there much but the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Appreciated the cotton sheets that were fragrance-free and the supply of coffee in the kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay at Alex’s home. It felt like a home and was a really elevated experience, so modern, upscale and relaxing. We were able to make use of the Japanese Botanical Garden pass which was awesome and so beautiful! Highly recommend to anyone staying in Portland!

The perfect location for my trip to visit my daughter. About 150 ft from her apt. 1street over from the neighborhood plaza that has the perfect combo of local bar & bustling coffee shop/cafe all with outdoor seating. Quite the little community area and perfect for us. Felt like home but on vacation. Everything else was very drivable. It’s a little apartment with A/C (it was a hot weekend) so I was very comfortable. The bed was huge and comfortable. Plenty of closet space and the bathroom was sufficient. I binged watched some Netflix in the living room late one night and we ate out the whole time because there are some great restaurants in Portland. Entry and access was a breeze and even though there are neighbors upstairs, I only heard them once. We sat out on the back patio one night with some wine and enjoyed as well. Overall it was perfect for my 4 days and I will tell my daughter’s friends about it when they come visit. Thanks Cora

Lovely stay in this peaceful retreat - nearby great restaurants, outdoor activities and quiet neighborhood. We loved staying here with our two cats. Very spacious, clean and stocked with the essentials for a comfortable stay. Would love to stay here again when we visit Beaverton again! Erin was a great host - super friendly, responsive and kind!

We had a wonderful time at Kathryn's home! It was the ideal location for our plans, a quiet neighborhood with groceries and food options very close by. Our kids had a perfect day using the pool, and all the necessary amenities. Kathryn was very responsive and friendly. We're so excited to stay again!

I really enjoyed my stay, the bed and couch are super comfy, great patio, designated parking, plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Check was easy, so check out. Great spot and great price, Boro is very responsive should you need anything. I booked again!

What a beautiful place to stay. The house was amazing and the pool/hot tub were fantastic. We would definitely book again if we lived closer. The host was very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend.

It’s like staying in a minimalist, deluxe tree house. I loved the lush, green surroundings visible through all the windows. Everything was as described and the host is organized and communicates effectively. Everything comes together for a seamless, relaxing stay.

Amanda and her house were both amazing! Amanda was so proactive with phenomenal recommendations! We spent a whole day on Mississippi St based of her recommended breweries, restaurants and Jazz Bar. It was our favorite day in portland. The apartment was adorable, bed so comfy and the hot tub was an AMAZING perk especially during the chilly, rainy weekend we were visiting! I would 1000% recommend this stay to anyone visiting portland!

We loved the stay here. At the first sight after entering the living room, my 9 year old daughter says it feels cozy and we feel home. I can tell the details the host has prepared for us, the filtered water in the fridge, ice cubes as well, toys for my little one. Not to mention the home is clean and neat everywhere. Mila and Peter are pretty well with communication ahead, generally there’s nothing else needed with all the information provided. I would highly recommend it to anyone who’s planning to visit Portland.

The hosts were super friendly and helpful, helping us resolve a couple small issues shortly after we arrived. The place was quiet and peaceful, with very little noise for a basement apartment. Our family of four with 9 and 11 year old kids was maxing out the bed space. The kids reported the sofa bed was a bit small. We loved the neighborhood and the hosts. Thanks again!

It was very nice staying at David & Yvonne‘s. The place was very clean, tidy and cosy. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Walls are thin-walled as described and earplugs are provided - great move!

An absolute gem of a place to stay. Do not hesitate to book. Beautifully designed. Wonderful wolf gas rage in a state full of electric stoves. A wonderful place to stay with friends, we didn’t want to leave. We will be back. Bigger than I expected from the photos. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It was private and quiet, yet perfectly located for exploring the Portland area. Parking was easy, and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. This was our second time renting from Chad, and we loved it! This cute bungalow is minutes from Woodstock, tucked into a very quiet neighborhood. This rental is one of two ADUs near the main house, but it's set back from the road and features a charming patio in a garden that made it feel quite private. The house is new, with updated appliances and a comfortable bed. We traveled with our dogs and enjoyed walking in the area as well as all the great food options on Woodstock.
