The Cozy Rustic Cabin in the Woods

Two level A frame cabin with five beds(2 Queen/3 twin) and plenty of room at 1300+ square feet. Two bedrooms and two lofts upstairs, one full bath, WIFI and cable television with two flat screen TVs, DVD and VHS player, washer and dryer on site. Huge front deck with BBQ grill and two person swing. A ten minute drive into Flagstaff. Attractions within driving distance include Walnut Canyon, Bearizona, Sedona, The Grand Canyon, Williams, Winslow, Lowell Observatory, NAU and Meteor Crater.

The cutest little rustic A-frame log cabin ever! Dog friendly with pre-approval. Our home is located in the eclectic, country neighborhood of Mountainare, 8 south of Flagstaff/skiing. So you get the feel of a small, mountain community, but still are only a 10 minute drive to Flagstaff and NAU area. This is our home! We lived here for years, and still stay frequently. We manage and maintain this property personally, so you are not renting from some property management company, but our family!

Within city limits, but with an out-of-town feel. (No city lights! Kachina Getaway-Entire Detached Studio

I stayed at Kim and Mac’s detached studio for a week while exploring Flagstaff and Sedona. It was perfect for my needs with all the amenities helpful for a longer stay. The location in kachina village is also great being in between flagstaff and Sedona. It was about a 40 min drive to many of the Sedona trailheads and less than 15 to the middle of flagstaff. I’m very happy I chose their place and would do so again if I come back to flagstaff.

My daughter and I went to a concert at Pepsi Amphitheater. Stan’s lovely home was less than 10 minutes away which was very convenient. It was the perfect place to spend the night and head to Slide Rock 30 minutes away the next day. I would absolutely stay here again. So peaceful and beautiful. The outdoor area was adorable.

Perfect “base camp” for a hiking trip. Access to the mountains and desert were all within about a 20-30 min drive and the drive itself was beautiful down to Sedona. The house is rustic but well kept, clean and had all the amenities you will need for your stay. Steve was very responsive and his instructions to gain access to the house were quick and easy. The place was easy to find, tucked into a small mountain community. It’s not a very walkable area in terms of access to restaurants/ shops, but the drive up to Flagstaff was simple and probably not even a 10-minute drive. Met a couple neighbors and they were friendly as well. Great experience, cozy house. Had a great time and would stay there again.

Stop scrolling and book Whiskey Pines!! From the moment we arrived, everything about this home exceeded our expectations. The space was immaculately clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Clean linens and towels (including beach towels for the hot tub), well stocked kitchen with spices, additional trash bags, paper towels and dish soap, cozy blankets, etc. These extras are so nice to include for guests. The host was friendly and responsive, making sure we had all the info we needed and checking in to ensure everything was perfect. The location was fantastic, just outside of town so it felt serene and peaceful but close to Flagstaff restaurants and experiences. The backyard is where you'll want to spend all your time. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and hammock, using the fire table and grill and walking the trails straight off the patio. I highly recommend Whiskey Pines to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing, and hassle-free stay.
