This little cottage in a little village high up in the mountains above the Douro valley immerses you in the experience - from the breathtaking views to the sound of birds and smells of the fruit trees that surround the house. Leonel, who lives on the property nearby, is the perfect host, extremely generous, friendly and caring he's what all airbnb hosts should aspire to be. If your'e considering visiting the Douro valley and don't mind staying a bit off the beaten path, stay here - you won't regret it!

The accommodation is located in a quiet village in the middle of the upper Douro vineyard and surrounded by vineyards. The only service available in the village is a small association under the Parish Council, which operates part-time (which also harms the privacy of the pool). Despite this there is sales of walking bread. The nearest large commercial areas are in Régua, about 15 minutes away by car. The Hosts were very friendly and provided all the necessary clarifications. Accommodation is great for a family break.

Clean three bedroom accommodation with exclusive use of swimming pool. Beautiful views over the Douro Valley. You definitely need a car. We just stayed one night but would have stayed more if we hadn’t made alternative accommodation arrangements. Paulo was a responsive and friendly host.

The place is amazing and you have a breathtaking view, with the pool overlooking Douro. Very peaceful and silent, with a great view and ideal to relax and disconnect from the city. Douro and the green of the vineyards makes this place a great stay.
