The Little House was peaceful & quiet, with a nice private yard for me & my dogs! Chris was helpful and friendly, I would recommend his place to anyone!

Gem of SE is right. Walkable to coffee shops and all of Hawthorne without being in the hussle. Air conditioning during a Portland summer, oh ya, theve got it! Very peaceful backyard. Felt secluded in the hot tub. This place is great! The shower is missing a door but other than that, everything was amazing.

The neighborhood is quiet and the place is a quick drive to so many things to do. The darkening window shade in the main bedroom is great for sleeping in. After a day full of activity, it was nice to come home to the hot tub. Sometime back a reviewer said the trampoline was not usable. While I didn't use it, there was one in the backyard that looked absolutely fine to use. Perhaps the old one was replaced? Anyway, just letting others know who are interested in the feature.

Melissa was the best host I have ever had! She went out of her way to accommodate me and my kids. We landed late and she proactively offered to set up the futon bed for us and even left us some food. We enjoyed our stay. The yard was great. Great walkable location. We would definitely stay here again when in Portland.

An unforgettable and peaceful getaway! Our stay at this Airbnb was truly amazing. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly accommodating and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable trip. The property itself was peaceful and beautifully maintained—perfect for unwinding and disconnecting. One of the unexpected highlights was the collection of musical instruments available to use, which added such a unique and fun touch to the stay. Overall, it was a memorable experience and the perfect escape. Highly recommended—we can’t wait to come back!

We had a truly wonderful stay! The space was incredibly clean, peaceful, and beautifully decorated—with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel extra special. It was private and quiet, yet perfectly located for exploring the Portland area. Parking was easy, and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. The hosts were extremely kind and communicative—we felt well taken care of from start to finish. We were very impressed and would absolutely stay here again!

Kristen's home was the perfect place for our family gathering. There was enough space for all of us (10) to be comfortable. We were able to hang out in the spacious dining area and the outdoor patio was private. The kitchen is really well stocked with necessities - pans, mugs, bakeware, etc. This is a beautiful home that is well maintained and the care shows. Kristen was very prompt in responding to my many questions. Highly recommend this home!

Cozy, modern, clean and clutter free…perfect place for two in the Alberta Arts district. Despite the rain (appreciated the umbrella), we had a nice visit exploring downtown (International Test Rose Garden & Powells Bookstore), local neighborhood which was very walkable and so cute, plus we participated in Viator’s Columbia Gorge Waterfalls & Mount Hood tour offered by Infinate Oregons Tours, absolutely fabulous!! We would definitely recommend this tiny house and our lovely host. Great communication.

We stayed here long-term while house-hunting and had the most amazing time. This space felt like home, the hosts were kind and very welcoming, and the neighborhood was a dream. Very walkable and historic. This ended up being our new favorite neighborhood in Portland! Thank you James for the most perfect stay. Highly recommended!

Cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had staying at Rivers Retreat. It truly is a magical place right next to the Washougal River where you are surrounded by nature and can hear the peaceful river below. The hosts are more than helpful and we were grateful for their recommendations. We enjoyed watching the bald eagles and relaxing by the bonfire. The indoor space was very well kept and full of amenities. We will definitely return for another stay if ever in the area.

We had a lovely stay at Stephen’s place! Hidden away behind the main house, the place felt secluded and private. It was equipped with everything we needed to cook, and stocked with thoughtful toiletries. Close to all the main grocery stores, and walking distance to Hollywood Theater. I highly recommend staying here!

This was my second stay with Andrea and it didn’t disappoint. Cozy and calm retreat within walking distance of all the Mississippi fun. Loved having morning coffee with my dog on the outdoor patio space. This is earmarked on my Portland list for my future trips.

Nice, airy feeling to the space, despite it's small size. Felt very private and secluded from the main house. Well supplied in terms of needs--we appreciated not needing to bring shampoo, lotion, coffee, etc. And there were even nice snacks! (You will need to bring your own cream though as that was not provided in the coffee bar.) The only downside to this space is that it's pretty tight space-wise. Like the bed is only a few inches from the wall so larger folks or folks with mobility issues might find this challenging. Additionally there is no where to put a suitcase that doesn't block a pathway so we ended up scooting the TV stand to the side just so we didn't have to step over our luggage. Hard to imagine pulling out the couch bed and still having a functional space. Really beautiful tree-filled neighborhood, but any coffee shops/restaurants are about a mile away so you'll probably need a car or bike. Parking was easy.

Jacob’s place is as advertised and was great. The neighborhood is a classic Portland residential district and about a 4 minute drive from the cool, quirky venues in St Johns. Jacob is personable, and his place is quiet and very comfortable. I look forward to staying again as I’m a frequent visitor of Portland and Jacob’s is among the best places I’ve stayed.

Awesome stay at Denny’s place. This is the second time I stayed there because the location is perfect and the apartment is sweet. It is everything you could need for a fun visit to Portland especially if you are a walker! My dog Ozzie gives five stars for the private backyard.

Emily’s place was such a gem! It looked exactly like the photos: clean, peaceful, and full of charm. The space was beautifully styled and felt so cozy and calming, which made it the perfect spot to unwind during a busy few days of apartment hunting for my fiance and I. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and parking was super easy. Emily went above and beyond, sharing great local tips and helping us get to know the Portland area better. She was always quick to respond and so kind. The neighborhood was full of great coffee shops and local eats and we loved exploring it! 10/10 would definitely stay again. Thank you Emily!

We had a wonderful stay at Ken’s place. House was very comfortable, better than it looks in photos, had everything we needed and more. Loved the views from the first and second floors. Location is also perfect between easy drive to the city or to the Mt Hood area and falls. Troutdale itself is a cute small town and we happened to be there during the annual art festival which was quite cool with a wonderful show of local artists. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely, quiet loft in a tranquil and charming neighborhood! Emily has curated a beautiful space that worked well for 2 people. The bathroom is completely brand new and beautifully designed. Getting in and out of the unit is easy with just one flight of stairs. The bed was very comfortable and the decor is delightful. Miss Butter and Mr. Bean, the resident corgis, are friendly and adorable! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hope to come back soon!

This was the best place to stay for our long weekend in Portland! Location was perfect and everything was just as described! Would definitely recommend to anyone that is coming to visit!

The overall experience was wonderful. The hosts were very helpful, kind, and made the experience easy to navigate. The caboose was quaint, comfortable, really well decorated, and perfect for our stay. Their recommendations for places to go during our stay were great and we had a lot of fun. Absolutely would recommend and visit again!
