No 3 OceanCrest 2 story self-catering house

NatalieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved staying at Ocean Crest - the property was beautiful! Ocean and sunset views from the living area. A short and picturesque walk to the village, but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful even during the busy Folk Festival. It was a serene retreat and we would love to come back someday!

Black Lodge

HannahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Fiona’s place was absolutely perfect: the location, the house itself, the views, the unexpected walkability with a restaurant, *two* beaches, food trucks and saunas all within reach. This was our first overseas trip with our young daughter and I honestly couldn’t dream of a better first stop to kick it off. We added an extra day and I’m so glad we did! Thank you, Fiona and family.

The Boathouse - Seclusion by the sea

Colin And YasmineRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The boathouse is even better than you think it will be. Beautifully decorated, with lovely light, full of thoughtful touches. The views are wonderful. We loved the outdoor seating and the bench up on the hill. The photos of the scenery are not just of the surrounding area, this is the land that Amiee and Joe maintain. One of the best parts of our holiday was walking the trails. The general area is also fantastic and there's lots to do. Amiee and Joe are very welcoming and gave us lots of tips. If you want a relaxing place to stay that's immersed in nature while also feeling luxurious, don't hesitate. A truly special place.

Old Scragg Farm Cottage No. 1

JulieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at Scragg farm for our honeymoon and it was hands down the best thing we could have done! Not only is Andrew a wonderful host with a fountain of knowledge for everything near by (he gave amazing recommendations!) - but the cottage was also incredibly peaceful and picturesque. Not to mention how central it is; most of the places we wished to see were only an hour or so away. Haven't even been gone 24 hours and we're already talking about when we can take our next trip back!

The Stables Kilcoltrim Kilkenny, Ireland

FionaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fabulous few days staying at The Stables. Breda and Joe have a lovely country property. We love the goodie left for us from Breda. Scones and bread both home made. The cottage is so well equipped with most things you’d need to get by but a Centra only a few minutes away has lots of options. The bed was so comfortable as were the pillows and the fluffiest feather doona. The cottage is heated but we felt we didn’t need heating on as it’s very warm inside anyway but great if it turns cold. A bonus is the washer and dryer, we’d not been able to wash for several day so felt like all home comforts were covered. We loved the kitchen and dining area, great for preparing our meals. Breda has a vegetable and herb garden which she was happy for us to use, I made good use of salad stuff and herb. We got to meet Joe who was brings the horses back into the sheds, we got to see an 8 day old foal, such a highlight for me coming from Australia’s beach scene. We highly this place Fiona

The Villa Christa in the "Glen"

RobinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
For adventurous travelers looking for an experience rather than merely a place to stay, this place and location has a lot to offer. After staying at chalets and places convenient for one night stops, it was fun to drive through Glengariff Nature Preserve through the winding roads up into the hilltop location surrounded by woods with openings looking out over the beautiful hilly terrain. Chopping wood to heat the small apartment heightened the feeling of living as one of the locals for a while. We appreciated Gesine’s helpful notes to get there and enjoyed chatting with her about life in this peaceful place. While day trips taking the ferry to Garnish Island or driving over Caha Pass to Killarney National Park were nice, we are glad we took advantage of the location and spent time away from tourist-filled areas to enjoy quiet, peaceful hikes along the nearby Riverwalk and through some of Pooleen Woods. This was a great addition to our first-time travel experience in Ireland!

Castledarcy Glamping Lahinch

KerinRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Our stay at the pod was everything we hoped it would be as a family traveling with a 4-year-old. The pod was cute and comfortable. The location is wonderful for getting to Cliffs of Moher and Lahinch Beach. Restaurants were close by too and we did take out one of the two nights we stayed there so we could take advantage of the surroundings with the picnic table. From the picnic table, we saw horses, sheep and tractors from afar. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend as a unique way to experience the area!

Ger's Lake View Studio Apartment On The Hill No 1

ClaireRating, 5 stars1 day ago
myself and my husband stayed in Gérards place for 4 nights. It was our 25th wedding anniversary and on arrival Gérard had a lovely card and some lovely cake and bottles of local beer left out for us, this was such a thoughtful gesture and was so much appreciated. Gérard is such a lovely person, a pure gentle man and was always there to help or advise us whenever needed. He brought us to the local bar the first night and we got to meet the lovely friendly locals and my husband got to play a few games of pool with them. Gérards place is such a very special place, the views and scenery is absolutely spectacular, we loved every minute of it and it had everything we needed. We went hiking in the Mcgillicuddy Reeks, went to some of the gorgeous beaches and done a lot of sight seeing. There was always plenty to do. One of the highlights for us was meeting Gérards 2 border collies and got to see them work which was amazing. I highly recommend Gérards place, we will be back again.❤️

Studio apartment, Cahersiveen, Cahirsiveen Kerry

AshleighRating, 5 stars6 days ago
An excellent stay! This was a great home base while visiting the Skelligs - a quiet spot but still an easy walk into Cahersiveen, and a short drive to Portmagee where most of the boats leave from. The space was very clean and just as described. The unit is downstairs from a larger home, but felt fully separate and I didn’t hear a peep from anyone else in the building. Having both laundry and the kitchen was convenient - both worked well and were nicely stocked. John was also quickly responsive to any questions. Overall, no complaints at all and highly recommend a stay here if in the area!

The Creamery - true beauty and tranquility

ValentinaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had such a lovely time at the Creamery House. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and it was such a treat to wake up to that kind of beauty. We were lucky to spot bunnies, a cat, and lots of birds during our stay, which our daughter loved. The beach is just a couple of minutes away on foot, and the landscape all around is stunning. The outdoor space was peaceful and perfect for relaxing, and the house itself was really cosy, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. It felt like a true escape, and we'd love to come back! Valentina

Staying with Carmel is OG Airbnb, where there is actually a local host not an off-site corporation who owns the property you’re staying in. Carmel was wonderful and so welcoming. I was traveling alone and I really appreciate when it feels like I could reach out to the host if I have trouble without being a bother. The place itself is spectacular. They also have an actually stocked kitchen with more than just salt and pepper, which is soooo grand because you don’t have to spend money on an entire bottle of oil or butter or jam for a couple of quick meals. I hope to go back one day!

Perfect Getaway on Inishmore

KathrynRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Sineads apartment was LOVELY!! It’s a perfect location, 15 minute cycle to town & 5 minutes to the beach. There’s a little trailer cafe called Minnie’s cafe only a 15 minute walk away too (great rhubarb crumble.) Her place was so clean and had everything we needed, she even left us milk, jam, butter, coffee & a freshly baked Irish soda bread. The bed was VERY comfy, we had some peaceful sleeps. There’s chairs & a table out front which was lovely to watch the sunset from. I highly recommend this apartment, great weekend getaway for couples. We will be coming next year.

This airbnb was beyond our expectations. From the drive in seeing all the beautiful manicured lawns to the home itself nestled on top of a beautiful hill overlooking the river and pastures.
