Apartment holiday rentals in Museum District, Richmond

Incredible! We drove two hours to a different Airbnb that hadn’t been cleaned and found ourselves searching for a nearby alternative on a Sunday evening in a hailstorm. Found Wyatt & Ami’s place with availability within minutes and arrived on their doorstep 10 minutes later. WHAT A DELIGHT! The apartment was even better than our imaginations … we were enjoying a glass of wine in a local Bodega they recommended minutes later. Fell in love with the neighborhood and the lodging … it is our IT place to stay from now on in Richmond!!! Thank you, Wyatt, Ami and Lee!!

Perfect location for my visit to Manakin-Sabot. Beautiful country setting but not far from 250 and 64. Super clean, quiet, adorable space with plenty of room. TV, internet & a/c worked great! Kitchen was stocked with bottled water, Kurig coffee, dishes, flatware, etc. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean and quiet! Our host left lots of helpful information on how things work (tv, etc.) Could not have been nicer! I hope to stay here again!

Stayed in this cozy, thoughtfully appointed, and very convenient apartment for 3 nights. Cassandra was extremely accessible - easy to reach and very responsive. The apartment was simple to find and access… and sparkling clean. It was conveniently located to Carytown and VMFA. Will absolutely stay again and highly recommend.

Great spot close to the convention center! The Korean spot on the corner is excellent! It’s kind of a tight spot for 4 people, but doable and everything was just as described!

Great place! Loved the art work! Perfect for walking to Carytown and the museums, everything was within a 5-15 minute walk for what we wanted to do and our friends were a 10 minute walk away! Very Clean and quiet, except a little noise from someone walking upstairs. Bed is super comfy! Heat worked great! I would definitely stay again!

This was a special Airbnb experience and was extremely comfortable for our family of four. The live plants throughout the home were especially unique, particularly for a rental and all the beds were high quality mattresses and linens (much appreciated). You could tell a lot of care and love has gone into creating a great guest experience. My kids were amazed by the home, from the swinging bed to the wallpaper and art to the makeup vanity and small touches throughout, they commented throughout our stay on how nice it was. Thank you for making our stay in Richmond comfortable and memorable.

Great place!

Loved our stay here! The location could not be better. We came for a weekend getaway and the location was so walkable that we parked our car on arrival on Friday and didn’t touch it again until leaving on Sunday. The unit itself is exactly as advertised - it’s the bottom unit so doesn’t get a crazy amount of sunlight but it was plenty for us and we spent most of our time out and about anyway. We’d 100% stay here again and will be recommending to our friends.

I had a perfect stay at Matt's place! Very clean and comfortable! Great, roomy shower! It's in a great location and plenty of awesome restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. I highly recommend Matt's place when visiting Richmond.

Butterfly Cottage was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Mary was available for any questions or recommendations you might have. The cottage was well appointed and comfortable. Bathroom was large as well as the stackable washer/dryer. We would definitely recommend her as a host!

Cory’s place was one of my favorite BnB’s I’ve ever stayed in. The space was easy to make feel like my own personal home, very private and very minimal noise. The few neighbors I did see were extremely personable and the space was even better than I had imagined from initial pictures and descriptions (which were all accurate and appealing. It is listed as a studio but there is a bedroom separate from the rest of the unit which was a very pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here again if I end up in Richmond, I loved it!

Andrew was an exceptional host, and we had an amazing stay. He provided a video that showed us how to access the property and what to expect for our stay. He was incredibly responsive, and exceptionally kind when I had a mishap checking in (due to me reading the instructions wrong). The apartment itself was beautifully upgraded and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the location was so convenient. Loved the off-street parking, too. Wed absolutely book with Andrew and at this property again. Thank you!

Such great hosts! Their space is perfect for long stays, equipped with everything you could need. They are super responsive and were always so kind and helpful! Would love to stay again if I’m in the area.

We had a fantastic stay! This condo had great high ceilings, which made the place feel very spacious. There were close spots to quickly park and unload suitcases, and no stairs to climb. There are so many things to do within walking distance, such as great restaurants and visiting the beautiful capitol building area. Parking is included and just around the block in a safe garage, which is such a plus when staying downtown. We definitely would book this space again! Whit is very helpful, friendly and responsive!

The Grace Street house was perfect for our visit, being close to the museums and other parts of Richmond we wanted to visit. The house is very quaint and clean and met all of our needs (there were 5 of us). We particularly enjoyed the living room where we were able to comfortably sit and talk. Jason the host was very communicative and responsive. There were no problems during our stay. I would certainly stay here again.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay!! It was a perfect location for us. Great area for morning runs, just a few minutes from Battery Park for tennis, and close proximity to Byrd Park and Carytown. We enjoyed the deli at Stir Crazy Cafe across the street. Highly recommend and look forward to staying there again.

The location and all amenities were as described! Simone was extremely proactive about reaching out and checking in throughout our stay. Place was clean. Was a great, walkable neighborhood for my dog and I, and the fenced in backyard was a bonus! It is chain-link and not particularly high, so just keep that in mind depending on your dog’s needs.

Stayed here for a few days with our dog. Location was great, loved that there was a designated parking lot behind the building. Was a very quiet stay, didn’t hear or see anyone else in the building. Clean space and free from clutter. Would stay here again!

I found the unit very clean and all cooking, cleaning, and bedding necessities were provided. Communications were great. Any questions or concerns were addressed very quickly. The number of stairs leading to the unit should be considered. The parking is tricky, but eventually I found a monthly lot that came in very handy. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend that others stay there.

Stayed for a week while working in town at the Altria Theatre. Perfect apartment- so close to the venue. Nice neighborhood and cute apartment for solo or pair travelers

Perfect location! The space had everything we needed and was located in walking distance to everything we wanted to see.

Stayed for a couple months and it was great. Friendly, responsive hosts, fast internet, quiet, safe neighborhood, and a strong AC that kept the unit cool even during the summer heatwave. Can't really ask for more! Driving to get places is mandatory, but that was fine for me.

We just enjoyed a few days in Richmond at Catherine's place and had a wonderful time. The photos were very helpful in locating the back entrance (from the alley) and finding our way to the door - hint, it's a longer walk through the back garden/yard than we were expecting, but once we passed through the garden we felt like we had already become more peaceful! The apartment is clean and uncluttered and lovingly decorated with interesting art. There is a binder with anything you'd ever want to know about the area, parks, museums, restaurants (including menus, which I appreciate!) and a few maps of the area, which is great for walking. All in all we had a wonderful time and will not hesitate to stay there on future trips to Richmond.
