House holiday rentals in Museum District, Richmond

Comfortable home that was exactly what my family needed. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Shower on the first floor is my favorite of any place I’ve stayed. Maria was always responsible and was flexible my with requests.

We loved our stay! The landscaped backyard was just what our dogs needed and we were so close to everything. The home and furnishings were lovely. Richard was a great host and communicated everything quickly! Will be back for sure.

Good communication, great value, and flexible with a small adjustment that was needed. I would definitely stay there again.

The Resort was a lovely home on a quiet street. Beautifully furnished and comfortable. Backyard was small but very well done with a pool and lots of seating. Host was friendly and responded quickly. We would definitely recommend staying here!

It is an incredible property, pictures and words don’t do it justice. The home, grounds and neighborhood are very well appointed with a wonderful layout. There are multiple outdoor gathering areas, we saw swans daily, the bird and frog songs were enchanting. We walked the neighborhood every day. The pool and landscaping were amazing. The master wing is exceptional. We were there for a family wedding and the “princess” dressing room was very well used. The master bath/ shower room has a steam feature that we enjoyed and the” sparkly” bath and shower were magical for our grandkids ( and the adults.). The art and collections were exotic and everyone, not just the grandchildren were enchanted. We entertained 10-25 guests comfortably each evening. As to previous reviews about cleanliness-it was fine, as per linens, everything was available, clean, folded. PS if you want the St. Regis this property has much more to offer than fluffy robes and slippers. We will be back!

We are repeat guests and they minute we find out we have to be in Richmond, it's an automatic click. The hospitality of the owners is top level. The house is well stocked and has pretty much all cooking supplies you could ever need. The pool was so key this last stay because it was so hot and the water was refreshing! We felt right at home. Great guest instructions and easy checking in as well as checking out. Again, automatic booking for us when we need to be in Richmond!

Great house! It was very clean and the house looked just like the pictures. Had a really big front & back yard. Wish it was summer time so that we could’ve enjoyed the pool!

Our family of five had a quick stay at Josh’s and the home did not disappoint. It was spacious, comfortable, and convenient. The back porch and yard was our favorite space - the fire pit and twinkle lights created a great atmosphere. We would absolutely stay again.

We LOVED Lacey’s place. It was so cute, it was clean, and it was in a great location. As someone passionate about interior design, I was obsessed with this home. Adorable and comfortable. Lacey was super communicative and kind. Would stay again!

What a lovely gem in Richmond! Nothing but good things to say about the house; lovely backyard, clean and modern interior, and a very comfortable bed. We were especially fond of the permaculture backyard; it's not something you see often, but it was a really lovely and unique aspect of the property that we enjoyed (and I'm supportive of the effort/theory behind it)!

Had a relaxing few days at this cute cottage on the river. Lovely porch with a view. Very secluded but easy to get to all of Richmond's attractions. Bubba the donkey was very welcoming. We couldn't come or go without petting him!

Josh has a beautiful place with everything you need all set when you arrive. I am very picky about cleanliness and his place was spic and span clean. The beds were very comfortable, and I especially appreciated that the bedrooms had darkening drapes. He responded to me immediately each time I reached out. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely be back to visit...next time for a longer visit to enjoy my home away from home!

Alexander was a wonderful host. Very responsive and helpful. Check in was a breeze. This was located in a prime location. Tons to do within walking distance. Many excellent restaurants in the area. I highly recommend El Pope, Beauvine, Abi’s Books & Brews, and Little Mexico! The home was beautiful!!! Absolutely stunning in person. Very clean. Great amenities! It is a hidden gem! There’s tons to do if you want to drive as well. Very cute area. Well worth it!! Thank you!!

We loved Timothy's place. Lots of characters and charming. Very clean and easy to keep it clean because Timothy leaves clean supplies available. It really felt like home for us. we will be back for sure! Also, the description of the area made it easier to find good restaurants and places to visit.

We had a great time at Sara Rose's place! Carytown is our preferred neighborhood when we come to Richmond. Lots of shops and restaurants to walk to but the street still feels private. Close to the fan and museum district. House was comfortable and host was friendly and responded very quickly to questions.

This was a delightful, centrally located pied-a-terre for three of us to stay during a whirlwind wedding weekend. Chic decor, beautiful kitchen and patios, powerful AC (which helps in Richmond), and a great location in The Fan for walking to Lamplighter Coffee, Three Monkeys Bar, the Virginia Fine Arts Museum, vintage stores and more. We were worried about parking but true to the owner’s suggestion there was ample street parking. Would rebook again. Thanks!

Usually I am a little apprehensive about sharing a space with the owners but my mind changed with this air bnb. Felt private, everything was clean amd very chic. In a secluded peaceful area but still driving distance from Richmond city center. A great place!

Had a great visit! The home was what we expected, and Lauren was helpful. The location of the home is excellent - lots of restaurants and shops very close by. I would gladly stay there again.

Great location! It is located close to W Broad so convenient to everything. We stayed for my son’s UR graduation and it was easy to get to campus. Parking is readily available on the street- we always parked directly in front of the house. We didn’t have time to walk, but from the car the neighborhood looked safe. The house has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. It worked well for 3 of us. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was fine. Fenced backyard.

Hit reserved! Because from the very start, Kristina was highly responsive and considerate. Her home is truly a lovely, well appointed place of respite, that I found myself noting her design concepts, and landscaping ideas. So appealing was her home, that I wanted to spend more time in it. Then when I met Kristina it became clear that there is good reason for her super host status. She cares to provide her visitors an accommodation experience of the heart. The bedding was plush, and cozy, and while all was spotless, the bathroom was especially so, that it enabled my late night option for a soothing bath. In the morning after a peaceful slumber, my husband and I awoke refreshed to a pot of deliciously hot coffee and creme thoughtfully provided. Finally, it's conveniently located proximity to Richmond proper, offered the perfect place from which to drive quickly to Rockett's Landing for an evening of dinner and sunset views! This place and its hostess is a win win! Thank you, Kristina!
