On rainy days, you can play darts, Jenga, or table tennis indoors, or visit the nearby hot springs and saunas. In the forest, insects and animals coexist. Snow can be troublesome. Walk the Nordic walking course that starts from the front of the house to the grassy park on the shore of Lake Reisenji with a view of the majestic mountains and the hot spring with an open-air bath. There are also camp + iizuna, a water bamboo garden, and a herb garden where you can participate in various activities. Next door is the open-air cafe Womote, which is only open in the garden on weekends, where you can enjoy Swedish cuisine and soba noodles made with organic ingredients grown by the shop. Also, how about a BBQ with local vegetables from the nearby farmers' market? There are also many mountain restaurants within 20 minutes by car. You can also climb Mt. Iizuna, and if you go a little further, you can climb Mt. Togakushi and Mt. Kurohime.
