Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.

“Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. This Solar Energy House is in the quiet residential area 3-minutes-walk from Zenkoji-Temple. It's very comfortable, using natural material insulators. Hosts live on the second floor and the entire first floor is for guests. The main entrance is shared with us and guests can ask anytime. Enjoy the relaxing wooden interior and solid wood floor.
