Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Nakagyo Ward

Chieri en haar moeder en hun schattige hond zijn hele lieve hosts die er alles aan doen om je verblijf een echte authentieke Japanse ervaring te laten zijn. Hun huis is prachtig ingericht, ruim en voelt heel fijn en gastvrij. Het café en de biertuin van Chieri zijn ook zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Het eten en drinken en het gratis Japanse ontbijt waren heerlijk. En als je nog authentieke Japanse souvenirs zoekt zijn die hier ook te vinden. Al met al een perfecte plek om even tot rust te komen na het bezoeken van de drukke steden als Kyoto en Osaka.

One the best Airbnb spaces I’ve stayed in Japan. The host was extremely friendly and sweet and would respond very quickly. Overall loved the place :)

今回は響け！ユーフォニアムのファンコンサートを聴きに来て後泊で利用させて頂きました。 京阪宇治駅からもほど近く、宇治の街を歩いて回るのにちょうど良かったです。 また来年もあるので利用させてもらえればと思います。 このたびはありがとうございました。

John is one of the best host I’ve ever met at Airbnb. He is very friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic. He and his wife are very nice. I also love his dogs. They are very cute.

Kenji-san is truly a superhost. He not only received my luggage in advance but also took it upstairs to my room before my arrival. I checked in around 9 and he still gave me instructions and recommendations on where I could go the next 2 days. He is always available to help, whatever it may be. The house itself is beautiful and takes you back in time. There is a certain peace in being in the room. I had a great stay. I unfortunately had it cut it short by one night due to change of plans. I would definitely stay here again.

We were a family of 4, including a mischievous baby boy, and we had a ball of a time staying here. The hosts were friendly and warm. Michael taught us about tea as he made a welcome tea for us, and the breakfast was yummy. We loved the private sleeping space, and the tatamis. Used the washer / dryer, which helped a lot. Ikuko runs a pizza place on Wed / Thurs so don’t forget to try that!

nous n'avons passé que deux jours, mais deux jours fantastiques ! dès notre arrivée Tanaka San est venu nous chercher à la gare puis nous a rempli son spa (fait maison) d'une eau à 60°, un délice ! Et je ne vois raconte pas les petits déjeuners de Machiko San sont fantastiques, on pouvait presque sauter le repas de midi tellement c'était bon et copieux ! Les espaces privés sont très spacieux et avec une grande TV (on peut brancher son ordi en HDMI) et une terrasse, et la maison typiquement japonaise est vraiment très agréable, je vous les recommande à 200% ! Un grand merci à vous deux 🙏🏽

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Kyoto! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help out with any questions or needs. The location is great – it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest station and equally close to popular spots like Sanjo and Nishiki Market, making it easy to explore the area. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the breakfast. It wasn’t just a standard continental breakfast – each morning, they prepared a full, delicious spread for every guest, which was such a treat to start the day. You could really feel the care and effort they put into making everyone feel at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The only minor issue was the washer and dryer, which are a bit dated. The dryer took a while to dry a half load, so I’d recommend doing smaller loads or planning laundry for when you have some time to hang out. Overall, I loved my stay here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting!

Lovely stay! My daughter and I enjoyed the place and the area. The home cooked breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip. It was delicious! Loved the traditional home feel and wished we could’ve stayed longer during this trip. Host was very kind and helpful and the location is very walkable and close to bus stops to get around.

Had a wonderful stay in this traditional Japanese room. The host was very friendly and accomodating. He provided us delicious breakfast every morning and gave us good tour spot recommendations. We felt comfortable and welcomed here. Would definitely come again on our next Kyoto trip.

7일 동안 머물렀는데 매우 만족했습니다. 방은 깨끗했고 매일 나오는 조식은 매우 맛있었습니다. 다만 역에서 숙소까지 거리가 있습니다. 체크인 및 체크아웃 시에는 픽업을 해주기 때문에 괜찮았습니다.

Miyagon was absolutely lovely! Not only did she give us a ride to her place from the station, but a ride to the station the day we left, (the day we got there and the day we left), she even made my husband and I a delicious breakfast each morning we stayed with her. She had snacks and beverages too if we needed a little something extra. Her home was so clean, comfy, and cozy. She was so very very kind and truly by far exceeded our Airbnb expectations. Her home was also perfectly located, close enough to walk to different stations or bus stops, loads of restaurants and shopping, but still such a quiet sweet home and spot. She was an absolute dream come true hostess that we look forward to having again on our next visit.
