Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nambucca Heads

The Deck at Way Way was such a great find. Perched on a hill with a vista of mountains meeting the Pacific Ocean. We had everything we needed to cook, relax and soak up the serenity. The bed was very comfortable. The carport made loading in and out very easy. We will be back for a longer slice of this beautiful place. Sunsets and sunrises were especially magical. Scott’s Head nearby had everything we needed to top up our own supplies.

Helen & Jack were wonderful hosts. We felt right at home in their cabin. Beautiful surroundings and a very peaceful space tucked aware with the wildlife. We loved their personal tips of where to explore and the breakfast was a great addition, meaning we had more time to explore Bellingen.

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

Lovely little apartment with a beautiful sea view and very quiet. It has a lovely sunny patio and you can watch the sun rise over the water. The position is great and only a short walk to the beach and town. Very comfortable bed and lovely quality linen. Great provisions including lovely homemade biscuits, great selection of teas, muesli and lots of pantry staples. Debra was great to deal with and provided lots of local information. Thanks for a very relaxing stay and all the little extras provided.

Loved our stay at Casa las Valla. It was such a beautiful peaceful home. The beds were comfy the house had a real homey feel and it was big enough for the whole extended family. The hosts went above and beyond and absolutely made us feel comfortable and welcome. Country living only a short drive to the beach it was perfect. We will be back 😊

Lovely, comfortable home with quality furniture and facilities. Excellent location - so good to be able to walk out the back door, along a path, to a dog-friendly beach! South West Rocks is a beautiful area with lots to do; we loved that the town was walking distance away. Very easy check-in and out.

Stayed a night at Andrew’s amazing cabin, it was meticulously maintained and well stocked with snacks and breakfast staples. The views are incredible, we watched a glorious sunrise before we continued our journey home. Would love to spend a few days here rather than just passing through for 1 night. Highly recommend to anyone considering a stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at Jacqui and Peter’s place. The view is amazing and it’s lovely to be able to hear the ocean. There house was easily accessible to the main town of Scott’s head and it was well equipped for kids. We will definitely be back again!

Annelie was very friendly and the place itself was pristine. Completely clean and comfy. It was a great stop along the way for my partner and I as we did our east coast Australia road trip. Definitely recommend!!

Great apartment, extremely clean, everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Location is excellent, walking distance to all the shops. View from the balcony to the beach was great. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Our stay at Matariki was nothing short of exceptional. Our host, Julie, was warm, welcoming, proactive in her communication and quick to respond to questions. The welcome basket was great and Julie’s sourdough is worth fighting for! The location is very convenient and peaceful and the accommodation is very comfortable. This will be a return address for us … for sure.

My daughter and I stayed here on our back from Qld to Sydney. Kaye and David were great easy to communicate with. Great supply of coffee (we are nurses) and breakfast supied was just right. Bathroomis awesome comfortable bed and beaut linen. Easy walk to the beach with kangaroos, scrub birds and nature on the way. Lovely spot

Ken’s unit is spacious, full of natural light and very comfortable to relax in. The outlook that sweeps around the living area is just stunning. What you get to enjoy on a one hour loop from the house is Equally amazing. We loved it.

I booked this apartment last minute and it was great!!! It’s a lot more spacious than it appears in the photos and really cozy. AMAZING views from the apartment being on the 5th floor. I think it probably has some of the best round views you can get in holiday accommodation there. I could sit on the balcony and enjoy the view for half the day. Some of the decor was like a time time warp to the 80s which I also loved! Very clean tidy cosy but spacious. Easy walk to cafe or beach or dine out.

Ignacio and Jill are great hosts. Very friendly and gracious. Their unit is peaceful and has everything you need for your stay. I’d recommend them to anyone.
