Holiday rentals with a patio in Nanoose Bay

We really enjoyed our stay here and plan on making it a regular stop when visiting family. Karen was very responsive and thoughtful in ensuring we had everything we needed and offered extra help. The unit was spacious and well appointed. We wanted for nothing and the bed provided one of the best sleeps we had had in awhile. Despite the location over the carwash it never caused a concern or noise issue and the big windows provided a view of the trees and sea. We even got to enjoy morning coffee on the deck one day. Thank you Karen for this great unit.

Dagmar's place was really nice, we had a friendly visitor at night that would come back frequently~ Their lil cat was sooo friendly and adorable. The place was close to Nanoose Bay Recreational Shellfish Reserve such a fun activity to do with friends. BTW they also sell 6$ eggs I believe fresh from the hen!

loved our stay! the beaches surrounding the area as well as the cozy view of the ocean from the balcony was all we needed to enjoy a relaxing getaway with our dog. thank you again for being so welcoming during the Easter long weekend. would highly recommend for anyone needing some quiet time away from the city.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful beachside rental! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how peaceful and welcoming the space felt. The view of the ocean was absolutely breathtaking — we spent every morning with a coffee on the deck, watching the waves roll in. Beach access was just steps away, making it easy to enjoy long walks, swims, and sunsets without ever needing to get in the car. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, providing helpful local tips and ensuring we felt at home. Every detail — from the cozy linens to the thoughtfully stocked kitchen — made it clear they truly care about their guests’ experience. This place is a gem. We left feeling rested, refreshed, and already dreaming about our return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape by the sea.

Loved the accommodations. Very clean and close to everything you need. Surroundings are beautiful and the pool, hot tub and sauna were a much appreciated addition. The only thing I would recommend is replacing the sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable.

We didn’t interact with Brian and Shauna but they reached out initially to let us know they were available, we just didn’t end up needing anything but it was nice of them to be in touch. The space is perfect for 2, spotlessly clean and well provisioned with all the basics. Very comfy bed, cozy deck with a beautiful view out over the water. Quiet neighborhood, the unit feels very private, and access to beaches, restaurants, hiking trails and more was super convenient. We had a great stay, no complaints at all.

We had a wonderful stay at Randy and Barb’s condo. The condo was very clean, tasteful and roomy. It was equipped with everything we needed!! The resort had many desirable amenities including exercise room, pool and a good restaurant and lounge. We communicated with Randy a few times and he was always responsive, prompt and helpful. It was very apparent that the quality of our stay was very important to Randy and Barb. We really appreciated that. We highly recommend this listing!!

Very convenient location as it was less than 10 minutes away from the ferry. Place was very nice and had lots of amenities for us to use :)

The place far exceeded our expectations. It was equipped with EVERYTHING we would have needed to not go anywhere the whole time. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking necessities, the kind beds in every room with vaulted ceilings made us feel like the boujee girls we want to be. The views were breathtaking and being able to have all of our meals outdoors with heat and covering made it so memorable. The house came with cars and outdoor games too to use on the nice open yard. It really felt like the place was ours. The icing on the cake was the chairs, wood and starters to make our own little beach fire right below the house and roast marshmallows while watching the sunset. Couldn’t recommend this stay enough! Definitely coming back!

absolutely loved the cottage, it was so beautiful and tranquil. it was incredibly well organized with everything labelled, and super clean. plus plenty of towels and blankets. the hosts were super kind and helpful, really quick responses, and we highly recommend trying some duck eggs during your stay.

The location of this place couldn't be better for exploring the Island and especially for mountain biking (hosts were very accommodating with letting us store/charge our ebikes in their garage during our visit). Very easy access to everything North and South of Nanaimo as well as the city itself. The apartment is very peaceful with your own private garden/sitting area. While Nash and Louise are delightful hosts the real star of this property is Ollie, the most well behaved dog you will ever meet. Ollie greeted us upon our arrival and checked in most mornings to make sure we were well taken care of. Be sure to get Nash and Louise's restaurant recommendations.

We loved this amazing view home in Nanaimo. It is comfortable and extremely clean. Brian is a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful. He has gone the extra mile to make your stay memorable by having so many extras available for your enjoyment like kayaks, crab traps and even extra shoes! The home has an incredible view and water access that offers a beautiful place to relax each day. We saw orcas, humpbacks, and otters from the deck! My 4 yr old grandson loved watching the ferries and float planes. Nanaimo was so fun. We are planning on coming back and definitely want to stay at this home again.

Had a great time at Jane's place. It is in a great location close to the beach and walking trails. Also within walking distance of great restaurants. The house had everything you need for cooking, sleeping and relaxing.

I recently stayed at Ashley's place, and it was an exceptional experience! The property was exactly as described (and even better in person). It was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, especially the view was amazing. I loved the closed huge backyard too because of my dog. Ashley was incredibly welcoming and providing clear communications. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. We definitely gonna stay at this place again. This time Summer.

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung mit idyllischer Aussicht, gehobene Ausstattung. Eignet sich als guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen auf der Insel. Ein sehr gepflegtes Resort, aufgrund der Bauweise etwas hellhörig, aber ruhige Nachbarn. Wir würden hier wieder übernachten und bedanken uns, dass wir zu Gast sein durften.

We stayed here with our two young kids. We had an excellent time! It was great being on the ground floor and having access to the beautiful grassy area with a little fairy garden. The unit had everything we needed and the laundry was a great asset. We had a blast looking at all the creatures along the creek and in the tidal area! We loved the pool and hot tub! They were in excellent condition and just a short walk from the unit. We were visiting friends in the area and would definitely be back!

Kim hosted some of our family for our wedding at Pacific Shores. Everything went great, checkin was easy and Kim was super helpful, responsive and communicative about everything needed for the place. Lovely condo in a beautiful resort. 5 🌟 experience!

Great and peaceful space, nice and quiet in October. Kids friendly 🤸🏻‍♀️amazing facilities at the resort too. Lovely bedrooms. Awesome view of the creek and tides. We can't wait to return again!

very hospitable hosts, they even made chocolate chip cookies. The kitchen had spices and basic ingredients available so we wouldn't have to go buy things like condiments. They aloud us a later checkout and we were even able to spend an extra night.

Beautiful apartment with a really nice unobstructed sea view. Everything just like in the photos, clean and lots of natural light. I really enjoyed the beautiful bathroom…very nicely done. The bed is huge and very comfy as well. The view from the rooms and balconies is exceptional and really lovely. The whole property is really nice and well maintained. Especially enjoyed the bbq areas and fireplaces in the common areas. Communication was very good and check in instructions easy and clear. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the sea and nature of Vancouver Island. You would definitely need a car there, as there is not so much to do in a walking distance. Closes town is approx. 5 - 10 min. Drive. Ferry in Nanaimo about 20-30 minutes. Very convenient!

My stay at Jill’s place was perfect. As a host, Jill is friendly and very helpful. Her place was exactly as listed and was just a few short steps to the water. I loved my daily walks along the coast. I hope to stay at Jill’s condo again in the near future.
