The place is just perfect, it has all the amenities, the view is one of the best in the area (we have been to many houses in the area). Very close to minisupers, restaurants and Puerto San Luis. Alejandro was very flexible with our arrival and departure. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.

We only stayed one night but we had a great time! Definitely recommend cafe and macadamia for food and Tia Marilena for an amazing massage. The brewery down the street was also nice. It rained a lot during our stay and the wind and rain were loud hitting the container. The key lock did stick which was annoying since it was pouring rain but overall we had a nice one night stay.

We really loved this Airbnb. The small casita was very comfortable, had great views, friendly animals that came to say hello regularly and was close to lots of activities near the lake and town. The space felt clean, super safe, and homey. We will definitely book again, our favorite place near the lake so far!!

Mystical Paradise on Lake Arenal

Laurie and Barbara were excellent hosts, going over and above expectations at every turn. They were extremely helpful when our rental car had a flat tyre, driving out to find us on the main road to Tilaran. Laurie changed the tyre for us because the rental car didn't have the correct tools. Laurie and Barbara drove us to places and restaurants we would not have otherwise found. The views from the road above Lake Arenal are truly spectacular. The Casita is fairly close to many unique attractions. It is quite private and quiet, except for some men who were working on a building next door. The tastefully decorated Casita has a beautiful view of Lake Arenal from the back yard. It has an excellent washer and dryer, a comfortable king sized bed, a lovely bathroom and a comfy couch for watching TV. The kitchen had enough equipment for basic food preparation, which we appreciated. Any time of day it was great to spend time soaking up the sun and bird watching/listening. We saw/heard hummingbi

Nice minimal space. They were so nice and built us a bonfire. There were cows grazing, a small pond in the front, and a little stream in the back. Things to note - there was no AC, but the room was comfortable as it got cool during the night. No TV which wasn't a problem for us. There was also no hot water in the shower. If those things are not a dealbreaker then it is a perfect place that is private in nature.
