“Unfortunately we arrived in Santa Teresa the day before lockdown because of the Coronavirus outbreak and when the beaches were then closed. It was lucky that we were staying in such a wonderful location with glorious views swimming pool and nice comfortable and clean apartment. We were made to feel very welcome despite being the only guests and our hosts couldn’t have done more for us. We will hopefully return one day under better circumstances.”

“Wow! What a dream! Everything from the hospitality, the cleanliness, the attention to detail — and I mean, that pool speaks for itself! Our neighbours were friendly and we ended up mingling with them as well! Not to mention the perk of having a couple of surrogate dogs on the property to provide ear scratches for! If I moved to Costa Rica, this is the kind of place I would want to live in, let alone rent for few days! Absolutely perfect. Not one bad thing to say. Isabella, Tommy’s trusted friend, took care of us during his absence, and she was very genuine, and attentive. We can’t wait to come back and book with him again! 10/10.”
Overlooking the Pacific Ocean the house is sitting backed into the jungle a mear 400 m up the side of a hill on a secluded private road (4x4 cars only). Come and enjoy some of the most amazing sunsets on this planet.
“We had a great stay at Youbi’s! Youbi is responsive and very helpful. The view from the house is incredible and the house is just as described and in the photos (the master bedroom is particularly special with the view). We greatly enjoyed open air living with the outside kitchen and we hardly ever closed a door or a window (some raccoons did come by at night but you’re in the jungle so it’s to be expected and as long as we didn’t leave food out they didn’t bother us). We did use our 4 wheel drive to get up the hill so it’s a good idea to have it. There is construction at a house nearby which was noisy during the day but we spent most of our days out at the beach and exploring the area. The house is in a great location! Santa Teresa has a lot to offer and we especially enjoyed ceviche at La Cevicheria, tacos and cocktails at Eat Street, cocktails at Drift, and coffee at The Roastery. But by far the best was getting fresh tuna at the fisherman’s village (we had the best luck around 930am).”
