The School House @ The Old Naseby School House

Yes, this is really The Old Naseby School House. This 2 bedroom house sleeps up to 7 people. A king room with ensuite, a second bedroom with 3 single beds, and the option of a double sofa bed in the lounge area. All beds have electric blankets. Full kitchen. Second bathroom with washing machine. The living area is heated by a log burner & heat pump. Outside is a verandah to BBQ & relax & enjoy the outdoor area.

This self contained 2 bedroom home is a great place if you want a space to yourself. Ranfurly is a small country town in Central Otago, and is a perfect spot to stay for activities like winter sports, cycling the Rail Trail, fishing the numerous dams and rivers, exploring the tracks and conservation areas by motorbike or 4wd or just a spot for a quiet, relaxing time.

Wedderburn School Lodge

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Transformed into a home after 100 years as a School and Wedderburns main Education centre. The Otago Railtrail passes close by (300m) and this is a good place to base as Wedderburn is about the middle of the Trail. There is a 9 hole golf course across the fence and the Historic Wedderburn Hotel is 500m away.
