Holiday rentals with a fireplace in National City

My stay at Kaitlin’s place in San Diego was perfect. It’s in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The bed was super cozy, the space was clean and beautifully decorated, and there were two great outdoor areas to enjoy the nice weather. On top of that, Kaitlin was a fantastic host — very friendly, responsive, helpful, and accommodating throughout my stay. Everything was smooth and stress-free. I’d definitely stay here again!

I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

We were reluctant to write a review because we kind of didn't want anyone but us to know how fabulous this place is! :) It's absolutely dreamy and everything the pictures and descriptions promise. Great location, lovely, quiet neighborhood, the apartment is thoughtfully laid out and beautifully decorated, relaxing vibe... even a private patio! What else can we say? It. Is. Perfect! Sylvia was a fantastic host! We were there with our extended family to celebrate our daughter's graduation from UCSD, which was only a 25-minute drive away. The house was beautiful, and we felt so "at-home" the minute we arrived. We were greeted with fresh flowers and an amazing bottle of wine! This house has an accompanying guest house which both had fully equipped kitchens. We found everything we needed. The backyard is HUGE and so relaxing. We spent so much time outside playing several tournaments of cornhole while grilling up our favorite foods. The yard is fenced in giving us all the privacy we needed when staying in a neighborhood community. Sylvia and her husband are wonderful communicators. Sylvia is quick to answer questions and provides such clear instructions and is always available when needed. We had such a fantastic time here. Although we've been to San Diego many times over the last 4 years, we will sure to be back and stay at Sylvia's!!

Kim's place was perfect - just what we needed. We needed a dog-friendly, quiet place where I could work and easily access the freeway (my sister was having a baby, so needed to be able to move around quickly). Kim, was incredibly flexible with check-in and very responsive. Her place is pretty, clean, just as described with all the amenities you might need. It's a short walk/drive to food, coffee, groceries, and friendly people. Kim went above and beyond when in the chaos of leaving for work, I left my toiletries behind (including my retainers and some jewelry). Kim was next level - she went to the AirBnB to personally check for my things and then circled back a few times with her cleaning crew to reunite me with my much needed dental tools. Oh, and did I mention how incredibly comfortable the bed is - it was like sleeping on a cloud. I highly recommend her place.

Beautiful Home! My kids loved the Backyard along with all the games. My Man loved the Condiments & Kitchen He said You guys had the right equipments I loved the jacuzzi.

We had a great time in North Park. The house was very comfortable and the backyard was great to unwind or play with the dog. The house had a well stocked kitchen with actually sharp cooking knives! The area was great to walk around and close enough to restaurants and shops. The area itself is bustling so there was a little street noise but nothing annoying. The hosts were helpful and responsive but didn't interrupt our stay. We would absolutely stay there again.

We have stayed in a lot of home rentals over the years and feel this is the best we have stayed in. Arturo was responsive and easy to contact, helping us change guest size with no issues. The house was great, it was like walking into my own home with everything I could think of needing along with being clean and well maintained. It is close enough to everything in San Diego and has plenty of things to do in the neighborhood. Felt safe and comfortable and all the neighbors were friendly. We have family in the city and all agreed we would stay here again the next visit and will recommend to everyone coming to town.

We had a great stay at Laura’s place! It was an awesome location! We loved the vibe and the at home feel. Everything we needed was provided. Beds were super comfortable, and the entire place was very clean. Having a parking space was also very convenient! Laura was really attentive to any questions, and I can tell that the comfort level of her guests matters to her. Would definitely stay here again!

Really nice cozy home

Rami was a fantastic host. He went above and beyond for us and made us feel extremely welcomed. His place is in an excellent location, with most places in San Diego no more than a 20 minute drive away as well. We would highly recommend staying at his place!

This home was perfect for our intergenerational family gathering. There was space (and enough bathrooms) to accommodate all of us without being in each other's way but also being able to gather in our larger family group when needed. The location with views of the mountains was relaxing and reenergizing for the holiday with family members coming from all over. Although there were various spaces throughout the house, the kitchen area was a definite gathering space and accommodated well for people to be together and doing different things: cooking and preparing a meal, sitting and chatting, working on a laptop, reading in the family room not too far away. I appreciated the communication prior, throughout, and after our stay.

Our extended family enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful, clean, and well-equipped AirBnb. The AirBnb is thoughtfully designed with lots of lux features. It is conveniently located close to activities around the area and had everything we needed to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The family enjoyed the pool, sauna, gym, and spacious kitchen and living areas — something for everyone! It was super helpful to have access to a washer and dryer and we noticed there were high chairs, a pack and play, and a stroller for those with younger kids. We highly recommend!

Beautiful property and surroundings. Loved all of the plants and fruit trees around the property! The pool and hot tub were well kept and we had a blast! We were a big group, I loved how many lounge areas this property had. We never felt cramped or like we didn’t have space/chairs for everyone. Beds were super comfortable - way more comfortable than you usually expect at a rental. The host was super responsive and it seemed like they had thought of everything!

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. Liam and Mia were lovely! They were very communicative and responsive to all my inquiries before and during our stay. The place was immaculate and everything exceeded our expectations. There were also plenty of extra towels and comforters, which was a big plus for our group of 10. Definitely recommend!

This was a beautiful place overlooking the airport and water! It was really cool to watch airplanes take off and land from the living room. The host was super nice and very responsive. I’d definitely come back here :)

This place was the perfect spot for my bachelorette party. I have truly not had a more perfect Airbnb stay than this one! The house felt so private and secluded so we felt very safe in the gated property. The management team was the best I’ve ever seen (and I love luxurious spots and I work in hospitality.) it was truly 5/5 stars. They were immediately responsive, they fixed any issues immediately and they were very generous with their time and amenities. This is the perfect house. Only note I would have is maybe there should be more towels available for guests - we were a little limited on towels. Thank you!!!!!
