Bernie's is a super comfortable home base for friends, family, and pets to relax after a day outside. A Totally unique setting: stay inside the living quarters of a historic church! Completely renovated with much care to preserve the features that give the space great character and authenticity. With 3 separate bedrooms, a generous living space, dining area, private laundry and a fully equipped kitchen, there's lots of room for you to come together after an adventurous day in the Kootenays.

Comfy, cozy family home.

Our home is cozy, full of warmth and elements of nature. There is a large deck with a wonderful view and a trampoline out front for children. An enclosed side yard is available for guests with dogs (there is an additional $50 fee for pets). A carpenter by trade, I have spent the last few years creating a home which is playful yet peaceful. My home is intended for families, respectful couples or mature individuals. Please look elsewhere if you are looking for a house to party in.

Perfect getaway! This private, new, detached cottage is nestled just steps from Kootenay Lake in lower Nelson. With 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, sleeps 4, this tranquil space will meet your relaxing needs. Our pet friendly space is sure to please. We do allow DOGS for a fee of $60 for the stay. Sorry NO CATS. Please be sure to let Kadie know you are bringing a dog and to add it at the checkout.
