Holiday rentals in Neos Platanos

Great place! The beach is very quiet and during the week days in June it was basically private for us. The view is amazing. The location is a bit remote, and although the hosts were very kind to not leave us starving, be prepared with your groceries. The closest shop is 20 minutes away by car. The sea has amazing blue water. If you seek a bit of “get away from people” this is a definite go-to place. If you expect life, cities and beaches full with people and bars - don’t bother.

we hebben het heerlijk gehad! wat een leuk huisje! het is erg leuk ingericht, met veel aandacht voor creatieve details. we waren ook heel erg blij met de horren voor de ramen, we konden lekker alle ramen openzetten en de zeebries binnenlaten. het plekje is heerlijk rustig met het geluid van de kabbelende zee. Op het strandje lag wel veel afval uit zee, dat was jammer maar daar kan de eigenaar niets aan doen. het zwemmen was er niet minder fijn om en we hebben dolfijnen gezien vanaf het terras! kortom, zeker een aanrader.

Το σπίτι υπέροχο πεντακάθαρο σου βγάζει μια θαλπωρή και σε ξεκουράζει. Όλα λειτουργούν σωστά και όλα νοικοκυρεμένα. Είναι πάρα πολύ άμεση η ιδιοκτήτρια (Ρανια) Ιδανικό για όλους. Η γειτονιά ήρεμη το μέρος χωριουδάκι γραφικό παραθαλάσσια με καθαρή ατμόσφαιρα. Όλα υπέροχα. Τέτοιες διαμονές θα ήθελα να έχω μόνο. ΥΓ:με πλήρης ειλικρίνεια τα σχόλια μου και αρκετά απαιτητικός.

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans la jolie maison de Maria, dans un environnement paisible avec une vue magnifique sur la baie d’Amaliapoli. Nous avons été accueillis par Maria et Yannis, des hôtes rares, exceptionnels, généreux et accueillants. Maria et Yannis ont partagé la culture et l’histoire de la région, tout ceci dans un excellent français. On ne peut qu’hautement recommander la maison de Maria, même si on aimerait la garder égoïstement rien que pour nous!

Villa Penelope was just what we needed. A very quiet space right on the water and very relaxing. We enjoyed morning swims, afternoon kayaking around the bay, and eating on the patio around the water. We generally spent the day outside. The outdoor shower was so nice after the morning swims. The weather for our stay was not too hot. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed. Another thing to note is that there were no neighbors on either side during our stay, enhancing the privacy and quiet. If you do have mobility challenges this is not the place for you. The stairs to the bedrooms are small and steep and the bathroom is very small. Penelope is a wonderful host. She had prepared a meal for us on our arrival, was very informative on the house and local area. She was very responsive to our follow up questions. A lovely person and a generous host.

Without a doubt, the BEST vacation we have ever had! Not only because of the stunning island, it’s friendly locals and the most spectacular villa (sporting the most beautiful views) but also because of the INCREDIBLE hosts. My sister and I both agree they made our trip extraordinary! Nothing was too much trouble and their hospitality was above and beyond. We are so grateful to have stayed here and are already planning our next trip back to this breathtaking villa (having only left a few hours ago!) Absolutely do not hesitate to book this slice of heaven, but be warned, you will not want to leave! And when you do, make sure to visit Ginfish, the coolest drinks spot on the island! It was a wonderful vacation that we spent in Themis' cottage. The view from the veranda of the house is simply wonderful. The garden and direct access to the beach is exceptional. In the morning, you can see the sun rising over the sea in front of the house. The peace and quiet there is wonderful - the accommodation is perfect for relaxing. The area around takes a bit of getting used to and if you want to stroll along the beach promenades in the evening, you're in the wrong place there. However, if you want to be on your own and enjoy the peace and quiet and the view of the sea, it's just right. It was an exceptional vacation that we will not soon forget. Themis is a great host, the accommodation was clean and everything worked. Thank you very much!
