Located on a dead-end gravel road, 1.5 miles to hard surface road. There is a house behind the cottage where one person lives. Construction completed in 2020, has a deck, a 2-acre pond, 15 acres cleared, woods to wander in, walking distance to Otter River, 19 miles to Houghton, 13 miles to Baraga on Lake Superior.

There are so many sites to see within miles of Grandma's House. Though this home was built in the late 1800s, you will immediately feel the warmth and comfort of a modern day living experience.

With plenty of parking, ample outdoor space, and a cozy feel, you'll have all the amenities of home, with all the privacy of the woods. Located just a few minutes from Lake Superior and downtown L'Anse. Great central location between the Keweenaw Peninsula, Marquette, and the Porcupine Mountains. UP Snowmobile trail#14 runs feet from the end of the driveway, combining easy trail access with a secluded tiny home feel.

The fishing dock is pulled out for the winter, but you can setup tip up’s for Northern Pike and watch from the living room.
