Holiday rentals with lake access in New London County

Great stay! The place was very clean and in a perfect walkable location near downtown. Parking changed due to construction, but the host was super communicative and even offered a small refund. Would definitely stay again!

This was our second stay and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The house is beautiful, very well kitted out and thoughtfully presented. The location is tranquil and restful. Ann is the perfect host. We love it here. X

The house was beautiful and scenery breathtaking. We loved watching the ice fishing, skating and go carting on the lake! We even went out on the frozen lake! It was close to my daughter’s home in Voluntown…. Only 4 minutes away! The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond as we were there to celebrate my granddaughters’ first birthday! They left a gift for her and some welcome gifts for us too! Amazing!! They brought a table and chairs for extra seating!! Phil and Staci were amazing hosts and always responsive. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful weekend at Aude's home in Essex. The setting was beautiful and the house itself was immaculate. It is a 7 minute drive to the center of town, which was convenient. The host was very responsive and quick to fix any concerns we brought to her attention. I would definitely return to this Airbnb!

Staying at Daniela’s place was great! Super easy to find and get into the peaceful house on the pond. Even though it was pet friendly, the house was spotless and had no wear or tear from previous visitors. It was great that they had child gates at stairs too! The dog loved going out in the canoe and swimming in the pond! Great place overall!

Absolutely perfect. The house provides everything we needed for a great visit. Easy walk to the local beaches. Would definitely return if given the opportunity.

The lakehouse was beautiful! Shana and her partner kept in touch with. any. questions we had. Perfect location to mystic and the casinos - we can't wait to come back :)

Perfect stay! The location was private, beautiful and safe and also close by to Oceanside restaurants. The house was perfect for my husband, toddler and infant with lots of room to run around outside. Waking up every morning to coffee with a sunrise over the pond and the fireplace on was heaven. Thank you for the magic memories!

Can't beat the location or cost. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful backyard to relax by the fire with a view of the lagoon or enjoy some yard games for kids and adults. Tom is very kind. He manages the property well, keeping everything clean and stocked. This is the place to stay anytime of year!

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

The check-in process was so quick and easy! Roger was always quick to respond and ensured I had everything I needed!

Elisa’s place was perfect for what we needed. It was exactly like the photos inside, very cozy and welcoming! Elisa gave very clear directions to find the place and to park, although the parking lot ended up being very full and it could be difficult to find a space. We loved the place and if we ever came back would definitely stay again!

Clare was a great host and gave many local recommendations right off the bat. She was very reachable when we needed something. Place was clean (very nice bathroom) but we did find a few bugs here and there (it's on the ground floor and we visited in summer) so would recommend bringing bug spray. Overall great stay.

Jeri is a wonderful woman and host. The stay for my family of 4 was immaculate. Everything was clean, welcoming and homey. There were so many ammentities provided, it made our stay pleasant, easy, and super satisfactory!! Fresh eggs, cream, and butter at request. Plenty of towels, pillows, and extra sheets available! Washer and Dryer access and parking right next to the sliding doors for easy entry, loading and unloading was suuuuper convenient. All the coffee you want, if you're into that (I Am)! Plus she recommended some family friendly activities around the area which was very much appreciated. I can not say enough positive things, without using up all the characters provided to write this review; you will just have to go and see for yourself (: I recommend 100% - Thanks again to the wonderful hosts for providing a top notch stay during our trip to Conneticut. Kelly and Rick’s place is absolutely beautiful and a perfect retreat for couples or anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic experience in Montauk. We’ve lived on LI our whole lives but never got to explore the east end until now, and Kelly’s place is the PERFECT location! It’s near town with great restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores nearby, near hiking trails where we got to see seals and beautiful views of the ocean, near the lighthouse, near great fishing spots, etc., not to mention the gorgeous view of Lake Montauk right on their property. We used their fire pit and had a fire the last night of our stay as well! We had a BLAST and had such a relaxing weekend. The apartment was very clean and has everything you could need for your stay, and Kelly was super attentive and responsive when it came to answering our questions and inquiries. Thank you again for giving us such a beautiful place to stay! 10/10 recommend! We’ll definitely be back🌊❤️☀️

We had a GREAT time at Feyza’s cabin. It was clean, quiet and exactly as described. We especially loved the secluded setting, the lake views and the jacuzzi. Feyza was helpful, communicative and very responsive. Her digital guidebook was very insightful as to the local attractions and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was very nice and comfortable for 5 adults, a child, and 2 dogs. Being able to walk down the stairs from the deck and literally be on the beach was incredible. Fantastic space, gorgeous views, and luckily the perfect weather to enjoy it all! Can't wait to rent again next year!

Nice little spot with boats on the pond. Went there for my son’s Wesleyan graduation and could take family out on the kayaks.

For seven days, the earth stood still with me in this little cottage on the lake. Listening to the rain falling on the trees, watching the water ripple across the lake and feeling the breeze hit my face on the deck were what I needed to rest for a bit in this quiet oasis. Thank you, Jason, Adam and Xavier, for such a peaceful experience!

Had a wonderful weekend. The accommodations were comfortable, welcoming, and spotless. Exactly as described and pictured. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

We loved staying at this lakehouse! Our kids loved the bunk beds and we had everything we needed to make full breakfasts and dinners. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked and clean. The neighborhood is very peaceful and if you need anything, Westchester Market is only 5 minutes away. If you visit the market and run into Kurly (you'll know him when you see him), you'll get lots of local recommendations and an entertaining conversation. Doreen is a wonderful host and gave us lots of recommendations for local restaurants, all of which were great. We stayed here for a week and highly recommend this cottage.

We had the best two week stay on Fort Pond. The property is beautiful and well maintained, the views are incomparable and we made great use of the fire pit night after night. This is a small, cozy airbnb but has pretty much anything you could need. About a 20 minute walk to the beach and to town, very close to Bennett’s Shelfish where we picked up fresh fish for dinner on many occasions. Our host really took care of us and we will try to come back soon!
