Holiday rentals with lake access in New Roads

The home was lovely and the neighborhood was really quiet. Me and my family enjoyed the spacious home. I had a few questions and Shelia was very friendly and responded quickly. I will most definitely book again if I’m in the area.

We booked this stay last minute and after our 2 hour drive… and showing up at 10:30 at night, we had a smooth check in. Everything was as pictured. The home was very clean, the beds were so so comfortable and the backyard seating area was perfect. We didn’t spend too much time at the house but had we did, they had everything you would need to cook and relax I recommend this home to anyone taking a trip to Baton Rouge. It is very centrally located and in a great neighborhood. The street to get to the house is narrow and a lot of people had their trashcans left out in the street so be careful with that, but other than that it was perfect! The layout of this home gave me insp. for our layout of our home we’re going to start building on the acres we just bought for our family compound!!! Mike was great in communication which gave us great peace of mind !

Beautiful house on the lake! We enjoyed the views and how peaceful it was. If we are ever back in the area we will try to stay here again.

It was my first time visiting False River. I absolutely loved this home! Beautiful decor and the outdoor space is perfect! Location was great! The owners were responsive and very helpful. I will definitely return!

This was one of my favorite Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. Very nice and in a great neighborhood! Safe and very clean. The owners were very responsive and very clear on directions! I would stay again.

We loved Hanna’s place. The beds are soooooo comfortable. She decorated with guests in mind. The views of the lake were worth even more than we expected. Caught lots of blue channel catfish. Great time.

James really went above and beyond for us, as we were scheduled to fly out, the place booked was not available to us as the person staying there could not go back home to Florida due to the storms. This sent me into a spiral as we were coming in on Parents weekend along with 9,400+ others and I feared we had nowhere to stay or even finding a place to stay. James went out of his way to get 2 of his non furnished studios furnished and ready in the mere hours of our traveling to make sure we had a place to stay once we arrived! He really went out of his way to make things happen and I could not be more appreciative of him. My daughter is a freshman and I would say we will be using James again in the future!

Thank you so much James for this super clean and quiet place to celebrate the holidays . This place was everything and more !

The place is exactly like the photos. Bed is comfy. No nosy neighbors even though there are kids nearby. It felt like home

This studio apartment was perfect for an LSU game. So convenient to the stadium.

James was very responsive. Check in/check out instructions were very clear. The apartment is recently renovated, furniture, including beds, were new, unit was very clean, and fit our needs.

The apartment was lovely! Just as described in listing. Everything was clean and neat! The apartment is also very quiet. The only negative is the neighborhood felt unsafe. We were hoping to be able to walk to LSU, but instead used Ubers. We were here for our son’s graduation, but if we ever come back to LSU, we would definitely stay there again!

Overall everything was great. Really nice place actually. My ONLY complaint are the beds. My god are they absolutely awful, I cldnt hardly sleep bc the beds are so hard and firm. Toss and turned both nights. Even my younger son cldnt sleep bc they are so hard. They def are not comfortable if you ask me. My cousin who stayed with us woke up with back aches as well. I highly recommend you change these mattresses to something softer for a better rest. Other than that the place is very well kept. Plenty of towels, nice kitchen. The only other thing I wld say is to navigate the tv was pretty difficult. There was a tv guide and remote but no one cld figure out how to use Cox Tv and instructions on how to get to use it. So instructions wld have been helpful. All in all is was a nice place. Thanks

Stayed at Claire’s place when we were in the area for work was very relaxing and peaceful in the evenings . Great view of the lake. Will definitely stay again when in the area

John's place was super comfortable and cozy and within walking distance to LSU campus - which was the purpose of our trip. The house is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood and has all the amenities to make you feel at home. The sun room is also a perfect working space if needed. Kitchen has all the appliances you need, including coffee pods! Overall a very pleasant experience.

We were in Louisiana for the Angola Prison Rodeo & made a long weekend out of it. Rich’s place was beautiful, comfortable & relaxing. All of the amenities are provided & made us feel right at home. The bunk room was great for the kids & the spacious rooms provided plenty of room for all of our belongings. We really enjoyed the two-story boat dock. It even had lights and fans! It was a great place to stay!

Deborah’s place was absolutely perfect!! My husband took my 2 toddlers on a “guys night” fishing trip & they had a blast! The house was extremely nice & the quiet location was perfect! They caught fish very easily & Deborah was so helpful & one of the most accommodating & responsive hosts we have ever had at an air bnb. They can’t wait to go back!

Was working in the area and this place checked all of our boxes for our long term stay. Beautiful place on the lake with plenty of space.
