Kid-friendly holiday rentals in New Town

This was the Airbnb stay of my dreams and boy oh boy was it worth it. Stunning accomodation with beautiful furnishings and surroundings. We didn't want to leave!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Shirley and James’. The place is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had no issues locating the place and it was within a few minutes drive to the cbd. Be careful if you are coming back to the unit at night as the wild wallabies do leave their droppings in the backyard, but they were such a pleasant surprise for us when we saw the little visitors. The only minus was that the bed is very very soft. It required some getting used to but thankfully we do not have back issues so we were alright. I would definitely recommend this place otherwise

Loved our stay at Ros’ place. Very cosy, all the basics provided! Ros went above and beyond leaving a small toy at the property for our pooch. Very dog friendly!

Freya and Grahams place is absolutely stunning, very thoughtful, everything you could need in the cupboards to cook up a storm and spare jackets in the cupboard to borrow if you needed them. Freya and the family live upstairs, very little disruption or noise. Parking is a little difficult as one side of the street is metered and the unmetered side was full majority of the time we were there. Plenty of brochures and suggestions as to how you can spend your time in Tasmania. We really felt at home here

Tom and Cate’s place was amazing! One of the best places we have stayed! They had lots of thoughtful touches especially for the kids. They went above and beyond our expectations. Communication was great, the house was amazing and the beds were super comfortable. The kids loved their little surprises and we loved staying there. Thank you so much for having us and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Hobart.

The place was fantastic. I had booked the place as a surprise for my parents and they were delighted the moment they set their eyes on the house. Our two days at the Airbnb were spent in and around the main balcony catching the best view. We saw kangaroos from our windows which was pretty cool. The hosts were gracious and awesome. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone. It’s worth every single dime.

We loved our stay at Little Arthur, it was the perfect base to explore Hobart - lots to do in North Hobart (including Ogee an amazing Italian restaurant 3 mins walk away) and walkable to the city centre. The cottage is beautiful with homely touches like croissants on arrival. The hosts were also super responsive and offered an early check in as well as a late check out. Would definitely stay again!

I couldn’t have asked for more during my stay at Ruth’s. The space was warm, cozy and inviting after my long work days. Bed was super comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, clean and modern. Ruth was a great host. Thank you.

Petra and Wayne’s place is immaculate. The cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever booked. Tasteful, warm and comfortable furnishings with a lovely garden outlook and beautiful views to the river. They are friendly, responsive and helpful and also respectful of space and privacy for their guests. The apartment is a 20 min walk downhill to the city. The walk home is steep but a quick uber or taxi solves that problem. We would definitely stay again, loved it.

Had a lovely stay in North Hobart. Born in Brunswick was great for breakfast, just a short walk from apartment. Many restaurants and wine bars in easy wake. Salamanca Square and Mona ferry an easy 1/2 hour walk. Also enjoyed the films at the State Theatre which was a short walk from the apartment. I spent a few nights there as a solo female traveller and felt very safe waking at night

Fantastic home with all the comforts, very warm and cosy, beautiful beds, great kitchen with more than we could use, great comfortable lounge and a huge 85inch TV for the relaxing time, great easy parking to your door & in a very safe area, our host was so helpful & responded to any of our enquiries very promptly, super friendly and a real larrikin, this was our second stay at Charles and we would love to come back again. Highly recommended

We had a fabulous stay. The apartment was brilliant and in a beautiful area of Hobart. Everything we needed was provided and Anja made sure that any needs were met. We hope to stay again!

Julie's place is a fantastic place to stay in Hobart. It was super convenient, cozy and peaceful, and we felt right at home. There was even a lovely little box of treats on the dining table waiting for us when we arrived! Would highly recommend this place.

Amazing location, easy check in and they were very generous with both early check in and late check out, comfortable beds, super responsive. One of the best air bnbs we've stayed in.

We really enjoyed our stay at James place. The place was very clean and comfortable and nice to relax after all day exploring Hobart. We were also able to check in early which is a bonus! James have been great! Highly recommend this place

We had a great time staying at Robert’s Condo. The location was great for walking everywhere. Close to good cafes and restaurants. Robert added some lovely unexpected little additions which made us feel right at home. Thank you! The condo itself is large and has modern amenities. We look forward to travelling back someday with our 1 year old son.

Gorgeous little apartment by the water. Better than we had expected and offers everything you could need. Beds were super comfy and great food and coffee literally minutes walk away - highly recommend and we are keen to stay again ! Thanks Roxy and Ambre for sharing your beautiful home with us !

An amazing location and spot, the hosts were attentive and the room was spotless and adorably homely! Not to mention the amazing views, sad we didn’t book for longer! Definitely will be back next time.

We had a fantastic stay — the place was spotless, cosy, and in a perfect location to explore Hobart. The heating kept us warm and comfortable on chilly nights, and we loved waking up to those beautiful water views. A peaceful, well-equipped spot that made for a really enjoyable visit. Would definitely stay again! The hosts were incredibly proactive, with clear and detailed instructions that made everything easy from start to finish.
