Fantastic winter weekend getaway! Very cozy with the fireplace and hot tub was great. Very private and secluded but still very close to Mangawhai and Langs Beach.

My family and I had an awesome stay here. The view is gorgeous in the day time and nighttime. Would love to revisit again soon!

The most amazing wee getaway with absolutely incredible views. A great place to unwind and recharge in the quiet. Would absolutely recommend a hot bath under the most incredible night sky of stars.

Such a lovely and cosy wee spot! We had a really peaceful weekend here, it’s such a comfortable glamping spot! Plus it was such a treat to have the breakfast items too and marshmallows on the fire. Natalia was really helpful and friendly. 😊

Wish we could of stayed longer. this place is a absolute gem 🙂 Quiet and secluded with stunning views, had everything you needed and more. We spent a lovely evening on the deck enjoying a barbecue and watching the local bird life. Followed by a cozy night in front of the fire. 10/10 would highly recommend

Check-in was super smooth and the place was all set up for us when we arrived. The cabin was cosy, clean, and had everything we needed, really well set up. The hot pool was a definite highlight, perfect for a soak at the end of the day. 😍❤️ Such a peaceful spot to relax. Would totally come back 🥰🥰🥰

This is a magical little secluded gem that helps you unwind and relax. It is really cosy, having a fireplace on in the middle of winter and the hot tub was a plus! We’ll definitely be back.

MOST AMAZING CABIN!! Can't possibly say enough about how fantastic the hosts and property are. We would have been happy spending our entire vacation here. So close to the parks and "Mount Doom" and other LOTR locations -- the entire back side of the cabin is a view of "Mt Doom" and there's a LOTR Risk game!! Pool table was so fun to use. Bed was super comfy. Used the washer/dryer (laundry detergent, no dryer sheets) and dishwasher, bathrooms (remember to bring your own toiletries), kitchen -- all very well stocked with cooking utensils and basics (salt pepper oil - I think there was sugar/flour too?). There's plunger coffee maker. Appreciated the OJ and crumpets and scrumptious home made raspberry preserves. Hot tub on the back deck fantastic too. Deb and Dave so friendly and flexible with our schedule. You won't believe how private and secluded the cabin feels - perched up on top of the hill. We really hope to stay here again one day - LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! BEST HOSTS!

Tony’s place was perfect for us and our dog, except when our dog locked us out and Tony kindly came to the rescue. Lovely place to stay for anybody visiting beautiful Ohoka and its surrounds.

Beautiful cabin with stunning views of Mt Ruapehu. This cabin is absolutely gorgeous with special features throughout. A very well appointed kitchen and stunning bathroom complete the cabin. There is a lovely outside bath in which to star gaze! Will come back when I can stay longer - just lovely!

We came to Pau Hana during Matariki long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was cold outside but very cosy inside. Beautiful set up and surroundings. Lee and Terry were very hospitable and greeted us, Nita was also a great host and gave us lots of sniffs and pats. So close to Kūaotunu village but still in peaceful area where we heard (and saw!) lots of birds and wildlife. Seeing the fattest kēreru land in the orchard and feasting on the trees was a highlight.

A lovely place to stay, so private and sunny. Sarah was very friendly and accommodating, couldn’t ask for more. Thanks for a great stay!

One of our favourite stays in NZ. Beautiful location near an excellent beach and well situated to explore the Abel Tasman national park. Helpful hosts with great local tips.

We had a lovely stay at Jessica’s home! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The little touches around the house really made it feel welcoming, and we appreciated how well-equipped everything was. Location was convenient and peaceful perfect for a relaxing getaway. Jessica was a great host, responsive and thoughtful throughout. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

Another amazing stay at this home, this was our third trip. Highly recommended. Beautiful location, peaceful and feels like the middle of nowhere whilst only being a short drive to town. Cosy house, amazing fire, lovely bathroom. Everything you need and more for a wonderful stay and Christine is super lovely and responsive to messages. Thanks again. No doubt we’ll be back!

Shona was an amazing host and great at communicating. the little cottage was so clean and beautifully decorated. Everything in the cottage was of a high standard and well worth the price.

The cottage was cozy & had the most amazing view of the sunrise in the morning. Loved the visits from the dogs and the cat. The homemade yogurt & other items were a nice touch and the laundry a few steps away with a private entrance was very convenient. Would love to stay here again!

Would definitely recommend Craig and Ri’s place if you are looking at seafront properties to stay for a night! The house had a small kitchen great for light cooking, a separate bedroom with plush bed and bathroom with shower amenities as well as a functioning heater to keep us warm! The living room has another heater as well and sofas are comfortable too. The walk to the hot tub shack was short (probably less than 30 seconds) and it is kept constant at 38 deg c, which is great during this chilly period! Overall, would recommend Craig and Ri’s place for anyone coming by to stay and looking to stroll along the beach.

My friends and I had a lovely, cozy stay at this place! Everything we needed was provided, all the essentials were there, and the space was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to reply to any questions we had. A special touch we really appreciated. When we ran out of wine, they even had a little extra stocked such a thoughtful surprise! Highly recommend this stay for a relaxing and well-hosted experience.
