Superb semi detached cottage with two bedrooms, large garden & private parking within the grounds just 2 miles from Cartmel & Newby Bridge at the South end of Lake Windermere. Granary Cottage has a EV charger for vehicle charging. Vehicle charging is charged at 50p per kwh unit. The dining room has great views with a pair of French doors in to the living room which has a large double sofa bed & another pair of doors in to the garden.. We offer guests a contact free stay in our detached studio suite in the Lake District.To refresh the studio and to complete intensive cleaning we block off a day either side of every booking. The studio has a king-sized bed, dining table & chairs, a very comfortable sofa, TV, lobby, wet room, small kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, tableware, cutlery. Nestled under the crags of the Old Man, the location is unbeatable. Walk onto the Coniston fells from the back door and into the village in 5 minutes. The medieval village of Cartmel is a 15 minute walk away, via public footpath through the surrounding fields or country lanes. Famous for its 12th century Priory, 2 Michelin starred restaurants & delicious sticky toffee pudding. The Edwardian town of Grange is a 5 minute drive with plenty of amenities and a lovely promenade walk. The southern end of Lake Windermere is a 12 minute drive.

Converted Barn, Patterdale in the Lake District

Welcome to Crook a Beck Barn, Patterdale a former Cart Barn which we lovingly restored during 2017. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. During peak season - April to the end of October, 7 nights minimum stay with a Friday changeover. Short breaks may be available so please drop us a message to ask!
