Holiday rentals with breakfast in Newcastle

Amazing! Ainslie and Dan were fantastic hosts & the property just delightful, well and truly exceeding our expectations. The property is well furnished, beautifully styled, immaculate and well equipped with everything you could possible need for a relaxing stay. The additional fridge and pantry items were a lovely surprise and meant we could settle in without the need to feel rushed to get the shops. The location was perfect being so close to essential amenities with the views of Lake Macquarie just superb. We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the balcony watching the sunrise. Our stay was simply PERFECT. Lynn is a super host, and the property was so well equiped. I stayed there for a much needed girls night, and we were all amazed at how well stocked the house was and how beautifully renovated and clean. And to top it all off a gorgeous enclosed back garden for my fur baby. We will definitely be back 🙌

Our family of eight adults enjoyed our weekend in Pokolbin. We enjoyed the view to the mountains from the balcony and the large yard with three rustic chipping greens to practice our golf. The house was spacious and the ducted air-conditioning provided warmth during some cold winter weather. The BBQ are was also excellent. The property is walking distance to a few cellar doors and a nearby restaurant provided a free shuttle service for convenience. Melissa was a wonderful host and made every effort to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

The house was absolutely spotless, very clean and comfortable- a home away from home. Loved the extra touches of bacon/eggs in fridge for breakfast, and washing liquid etc. Also plentiful kitchen utensils/ cooking equipment. The owner also turned heating on for us so house was toasty on arrival. Multiple TVs so family could spread out which was great! Found the house to have the extra touches that many air bnbs don’t provide- we were there for State Rugby, so at the end of a long day was lovely to have such a comfortable house to relax in. Would highly recommend this property.

This house was perfect while working locally and thank you for accommodating me. Had everything I needed and more. Is a great space and I enjoyed being able to work on my computer with that view of the water.

Judy and Murray were impeccable hosts. They accommodated our booking at nearly the last minute for a week and communicated immediately. They asked about our preferences for breakfast and were kind enough to pick up a couple items for us ahead of time. Their home was easy to find and we had no problems parking, getting in, or using the space. The cabin has won awards for its design and is extremely cozy. The air/heating worked well, which was great for warm days and cold nights. We did have a small hitch with the WiFi while we were there, but our hosts did everything they could to rectify this issue; most of the problem was due to network upgrades being done in the area. Judy and Murray were amazing hosts, very gracious, incredibly responsive, and had lots of great suggestions for places to go and things to do. I recommend the walk to Crackneck lookout, which was a relatively easy walk (lots of uphill at the end) and a breathtaking view of the ocean!

My family totally enjoyed the place. It was spacious and had all the necessary items needed for us to prepare meals. The property was also near amenities like Coles and Target. It was a very enjoyable stay for our family of 7 - 4 adults and 3 children. Will definitely return!

It can sometimes be the littlest things that make the biggest impact. Thats Bellinda and Tony. Right from the beginning I knew this would be a special stay. The Fairy Cottage was enchanting, magical - truly a hidden gem. Bellinda's communication was everything, she worked with us to help make our stay smooth and comfortable. Plus the extra touches of fresh farm eggs, wine, Scruffy, miniature goat feeds (my 3 month old laughed for the first time feeding goats), phone chargers, coffee, an amazing shower and best of all the magical fairy dust we all made a wish on as we blew it over the garden we so admired. I cannot wait to stay with them again on their little piece of paradise. Our stay with them will be a core memory and its because of Bellinda and Tony that it will be a treasured one.

It was great to stay here. The view was incredible and it was so easy to travel around the area for this place. Allan was really helpful and made sure our stay was really comfortable.

Not only was the space fun and pretty, Jean thoughtfully provided fresh fruit, milk, snacks and breakfast foods for our use. So perfect!

I treated my son and his girlfriend to a weekend getaway, and since it was their first trip to the area, Sue was incredibly helpful with recommendations that made their stay both smooth and enjoyable. The kids had a great time, and the place was exactly as described. If I ever make it to the area myself, I’ll definitely be staying here.

It is a really beautiful house overseeing the beach near Nelson Bay. My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay for a few nights. Host was really nice, even messaged me that she found my misplaced ring. thank you very much! Best seaside experience we had!

Absolutely loved our stay in this cosy, clean, and super quiet home in Greta. Perfectly located just 15 minutes from the wineries, it was the ideal base for a busy wedding weekend. The property is peaceful and beautifully maintained – we only wish we had more time to enjoy it! There were horses and a little sausage dog named Wonka who definitely deserve a shoutout. We’ll be back

Jo’s place was great for a weekend away. Nice, cosy and charming, really close to cafes and places to eat. Was a great base for exploring bush walks in Cowan.

My husband and I felt right at home, similar like, staying at a relative's place. Home was cosy and plenty of 'hygge' :)

We had a fantastic stay at Brad’s place! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Had a great stay at Willa @ Mangrove mountain . Location was perfect, the place was just perfect for two of us. Most of all the surroundings, and all our furry and feathery friends were great company.. we had a great time feeding Daisy and all the chooks but most of all lil cheeky PJ … such a cute girl and loved her company. Darren and Kim were great hosts , very responsive and the place is just great to unwind, relax and get away from the city and relax around nature.

Highly recommend if you need some time to yourself, the room is stunning, private and has everything you need to relax. All the goodies offered are delicious. Beverly is such a beautiful lady who makes the stay extremely comfortable with her friendly nature.

We had a beautiful weekend away at Cox’s cottage. It was so quiet and the views, especially at sunset, were unreal. It was a great escape from the city to unwind for a few days! The cottage itself is so charming and Jeremy and Annette were very responsive.

Beautiful place with so many details to make you feel right at home. Great local breakkie including farm eggs, local bacon, organic granola, biscuits, milk, spreads, coffee tea and a bottle of wine with chocolates. I love when hosts go the extra mile to make your stay special. Beds very comfy, each room had its own private ensuite bathroom. Surroundings are very peaceful. Only con is that the place has no internet reception. Host advised this in advance, but is worth noting. Great stay!

Ian and Sandy were very hospitable and lovely people. The Airbnb was even nicer than the photos. Lots of extras included. Many breakfast cereals to choose from. Milk, jam etc. The bed was very comfortable with beautiful linen. Reclining leather chair was a lovely bonus. A really comfortable and spacious space to relax in. Outdoor area was a nice touch, with a well looked after garden to enjoy. The place was nicely furnished. Walking distance to Bar Beach and Newcastle East beach. Darby Street was close by with so many eateries. A perfect spot to enjoy for 5 days.

Anne's place was cosy and comfortable and impeccably clean and organised. Close to beaches and attractions in a gorgeous part of the world. Anne had great communication and the place had everything I needed. Perfect for my one night stay. Highly recommend ✨
