The stay was Amazing and the host were great to interact with. We felt like home and close to nature it was very peaceful and comforting. They also provided us some ingredients so that we can make ourselves some food after a lot of travelling which really made our day. They took time to have a conversation with us and we really enjoyed to interact with them. Would love to visit again for their warm hospitality.

A beautiful houseboat tucked in a quaint corner of the dal lake where a travel enthusiast can find most of the attractions of Kashmir valley. The beautiful dal lake and snowy Himalayan mountain ranges at the backdrop add a unique charm to the houseboat experience which the host has on offer here. Guests have to take a 5 minutes free shikara ride to reach this place but the journey is pleasant nonetheless. I would recommend this stay to anyone irrespective of the budget that one has. Spending more money doesn’t always get you the best experience and this airbnb is a living example of that.

Changal House in Srinagar was more than just a stay, it truly felt like home. The beauty of the place is undeniable, but what made it unforgettable was the incredible warmth of the hosts, especially Imtiaj uncle. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms and treated like family. Imtiaj uncle is such a kind and genuine soul, always smiling, always thoughtful, his gestures were filled with so much love. The house is peaceful and clean but it’s the people who make it special. This kind of hospitality is rare and heartfelt. I am so greateful for the experience. Thank you to the entire family for making our trip so special.

This place is located in the heart of Srinagar, though it's not directly on the Dal Lake front—it's about 4 km from the lake, so walking there takes a bit of time. That said, the area is surrounded by multiple vegetarian restaurants and also offers easy access to Shikara rides if you're interested. The property was clean and tidy, with no major complaints. Just note that the hot water takes a little while to start. Apart from that, it's a really great spot, and the host is very responsive and helpful if you need anything.
