Kurohime Ski Resort is a 5-minute drive away, and there are numerous ski slopes within a 30-minute radius, offering a variety of terrain to enjoy. We offer free rental of BBQ grills and fire pits. On rainy days, you can play darts, Jenga, or table tennis indoors, or visit the nearby hot springs and saunas. In the forest, insects and animals coexist. Snow can be troublesome. Relax at home, stroll on foot, drive a car and have a little more adventure… it's the perfect location for any vacation. There are many activities within walking distance. Walk the Nordic walking course that starts from the front of the house to the grassy park on the shore of Lake Reisenji with a view of the majestic mountains and the hot spring with an open-air bath. There are also camp + iizuna, a water bamboo garden, and a herb garden where you can participate in various activities. Next door is the open-air cafe Womote, which is only open in the garden on weekends, where you can enjoy Swedish cuisine and soba noodles made with organic ingredients grown by the shop. Also, how about a BBQ with local vegetables from the nearby farmers' market? There are also many mountain restaurants within 20 minutes by car. You can also climb Mt. Iizuna, and if you go a little further, you can climb Mt. Togakushi and Mt. Kurohime. Oza Hossi Pond, where you can have a forest adventure, Nojiri Lake, where you can do water activities, and Zenkoji Temple are all within 20 minutes by car. In winter, you can go to the ski slopes right in front of you. All five ski resorts in northern Shinshu can be accessed within 30 minutes. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
