Holiday rentals with breakfast in Nilwella

My family and I recently spent a few days at Samudra, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa’s design is both tasteful and functional and looks even better than in the pictures. The beachfront location is exceptional, offering stunning views and direct private access to a clean, uncrowded beach. There was a surfable break right in front of the house, with the spacious and clean infinity pool provided a perfect alternative. The staff also made our stay truly special - Ruwan, Udara, Sunethra and the lovely night time guard have been working there for many years and it really shows. Ruwan (supported by Sunethra) prepared incredible meals to a high restaurant standard and also helped organise everything from surf lessons to in-villa massages. Sunethra was also very caring in looking after our 9 month old when needed. The combination of the villa’s beautiful design, amenities, prime location, and outstanding staff made it a perfect getaway. Look forward to returning soon!

Der Aufenthalt bei Lawrence war super! Von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und jedes Mal aufs Neue sehr nett empfangen. Lawrence und „Crew“ sind sehr hilfsbereit, haben etwaige Tipps und Anregungen für Weligama und sind auch immer für Gespräche anzutreffen. Das Frühstück ist sowohl lecker als auch sehr variabel, jeden Tag gibt es auf Wunsch die Auswahl zwischen traditionellen Frühstück oder mehr europäisch angehaucht. Das Gelände bietet viel Platz und man fühlt sich wie zuhause! Die Unterkunft ansich war in makellosen Zustand und alles hat wie beschrieben funktioniert. Wir würden es jedem ausdrücklich weiter empfehlen. Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht!

Really cool place to stay. The view from the room is incredibely beautiful! It is little bit far from beach, but not so bad. The breakfast was really delicious and for a reasonoble price - not included. I really recommend to stay here, because the place and the room is so cool.

The best thing about August beach house is it's location..sits right on the beach with lots of nice bars, restaurants and surf schools nearby. The staff were very kind and courteous and they keet the place squeaky clean through out our stay.

Words cannot even describe how amazing our stay was. Dilan, his mom and his brother made us feel right at home and so friendly to be around. It was their personalities and their open hearts that made our stay extra special. One morning I asked Dilans brother to make us a dhal curry to go with our string hoppers and it was delicious. He was kind enough to make sure we were well taken care of, as if we were their own. The place itself was spacious, comfortable and just simply beautiful. Most of all, it was so peaceful and we loved their kitty cats and their dog Shane. You can see that the brothers put a lot of love and thought into the space that they build and it’s so beautiful to see their hard work put into it for us to stay, appreciate and enjoy. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back next year, while recommending them to everyone.

Notre chambre chez Chandi était incroyable. Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez elle. Chandi est tellement gentille. Vous vous sentirez comme chez vous grâce à sa présence discrète mais toujours disponible au besoin. Chandi cuisine de délicieux petits déjeuners que je recommande chaleureusement. De plus, le logement donne vue sur un magnifique jardin. Si nous revenons dans la région, nous retournerons chez Chandi.

Best place in Ahangama close enough to everything while still being in your little relaxing nook of heaven. The staff is super nice and attentive to our needs. Cook is amazing we were not planning on it but as our stayed continued we had more and more meals at the house. The pool area and garden are gorgeous and relaxing and is really the highlight!

We stayed at the place for two nights. Nick was super friendly and easy to communicate. And the guy who was there to help us was fantastic. He helped us with everything during the stay. We were extremely delighted with the way they treated us. And the place was super nice, clean and surrounding was as described. Would wanna recommend this place to others as well.

Very clean and spacious. The proximity to the beach is great. It's not like most Airbnbs, but is actually a suite in a hotel which means your room is cleaned everyday which was great. Staff are kind and helpful. If you don't have your own transport then the location is a bit far from main town centre, but it is a short tuktuk ride away and easy to arrange.

Malli's guesthouse is a jewelry hidden in a residential neightbordhood. The perfect option to rest and very well located to move everywhere you want to go. You can rich koggala beach by walking ;) He and his family offer the most delicious Sri Lanka traditional food. If you need transport they also offer Tuk Tuk and bike with convenient price.

I loved my time here in weligama! it was the perfect place for me because i wanted to be a little more secluded, rather than in the center city. i’d recommend renting a scooter if you stay here! i loved having it to make transport easier, because it is off the main road a bit. overall, i highly recommend!! what a beautiful stay◡̈

Ruwan ist ein überaus lieber Mensch der sehr darum bemüht ist, dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Die Unterkunft sah genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Alles war sehr sauber. Es gab einen Kühlschrank voll mit kostenlosem Wasser. Frühstückszeiten waren nach Absprache, was wir als sehr angenehm empfanden. Das Frühstück hätte ein bisschen mehr variieren können (es gab jeden Tag das Gleiche). Ruwan organisierte uns den Transport zur nächsten Unterkunft zum Uber Preis. Und der Fahrer war auch sehr nett. Wir haben einen Ausflug zu den Schildkröten und nach Galle zusammen mit Ruwan gemacht, den ich mir ehrlich gesagt etwas anders vorgestellt hatte. Ich dachte er ist so etwas wie ein Touri Guide der uns auch Informationen an die Hand gibt, aber er hat uns lediglich gefahren. Dafür empfand ich den Preis als etwas zu hoch. Aber es war dennoch sehr schön und eine gute Idee. Wir bereuen es nicht 4 Nächte bei Ruwan verbracht zu haben und können es guten Gewissens empfehlen. Gerne wieder dort.

Wow! Nous avons passé un séjour magique de trois semaines au Nomads Colive. Par ou commencer: la vue sur le lac, le style de la chambre, la fenêtre de la douche qui donne sur la jungle et les oiseaux, les bruits paisibles des animaux ou des chants du temple bouddhiste à côté, notre balcon, nos voisins les singes (mieux qu'un safari!), le personnel adorable toujours présent pour répondre à nos besoins, le quartier avec que des gentilles personnes qui vous sourient. C'était incroyable! C'est situé dans un quartier résidentiel donc vous ne serez pas à côté des restaurants: mais sans hésiter, venez ici! Vous serez au calme et en pleine nature, c'est tellement ressourçant. En seulement quelques minutes vous serez en ville, en tuk tuk ou en scooter que l'hôte peut arranger pour vous. Je conseillerai à n'importe qui de venir ici, nous reviendrons !

We were incredibly lucky to choose this villa. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay and even more! A beautiful courtyard, a nice pool, a cozy room and all the necessary amenities! And also the most uncrowded and stunning beach next to the villa! But most of all we were captivated by the care and hospitality of the Duminda’s family! The first visit to Sri Lanka turned out to be unforgettable. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and the parting gift conquered our hearts!😍

It was wonderful staying at the Sea Breeze Villa. The place was peaceful and quiet and so close to the beautiful beaches of Thalpe. literally a minutes walk to a stunning beach and the famous rock pools. The place was new and well maintained and had squeaky clean bathrooms. Our hosts even invited us to share the SriLankan new year meal with them too plus had local recommendations to share. overall highly recommend place to stay so relaxing and well worth the money. thank you again

What a find! Sisiras pkVe is a walk down the driveway and onto the south end entrance to Kudawella beach. Awesome balcony...breezes and a Seaview.. absolutely will be listening to the waves as you sleep at night. Sisira and his wife are wonderful hearts, have an amazing young family in the downstairs part if the house, and Harshanis authentic so tasty, plentiful Sri Lankan cuisine is made and delivered to your rooms with love. A quiet location atop one of the best sand bottom beaches in South Lanka. Good for learn to surf swimming and long peaceful walks Sisi Place is 5 mins scooter to Hiri or Dikwella, 20 mins to Unakuruwa and Talalla. With the 2 bedrooms upstairs sparking clean bathroom and massive balcony, this place would suit long stay to also enjoy Harshanis meals, or small groups and families. I can't say enough about Sri Lankan hospitality and you'll find it exceptional here. Sisi Place is a well underpriced gem. Highly recommended 👌

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par cette paisible maison entourée de verdure, un jolie jardin et piscine accessible jusqu’à la tombée de la nuit. Le cadre est vraiment mignon, mieux que les photos de l’annonce :P . Hôte très accueillant qui à l’arrivée vous donne des recommandations de lieux et restaurants, plages accessibles à 2mn à pied, vraiment bien situé. Bon rapport qualité-prix, on recommande !

Es war der schönste Aufenthalt in 3 Wochen Srilanka. Es war ruhig und wunderschön. Wir hatten Zimmer Nr 3, welches offen zur Natur war und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Lova und Lee haben uns super herzlich aufgenommen und haben uns total wohl gefühlt. Wir haben uns einen Roller ganz unkompliziert ausleihen können über einen Bekannten und das hat Spaß gemacht die Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Hunde waren total lieb und es war uns eine Freude ein Teil von Ocean Eye zu sein. Absolute Empfehlung 💓💓

Als wir ankamen,hat uns die gesamte Familie sehr freundlich mit einem leckeren Obstsaft empfangen und ruckzuck war das Gepäck schon nach oben gebracht. Die Zimmer und die Küche sind im 1.Stock umgehen von einem tollen Garten mit allerlei Vogelstimmen.Wir waren immer beim Frühstück unten und die Familie hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Will man zum Strand oder in die Stadt kann man die 200 Meter zu Fuß zur Haustrasse gehen und ein Tuck Tuck anhalten, wenn man Glück hat erwischt man auch eines direkt vor dem Anwesen. Alles in allem supernette Gastgeber und ein wirklich tolles Anwesen

Really great accommodation nearby to beautiful quiet beaches - as a female solo traveler I always felt safe. Manju’s food is also the most delicious food I’ve eaten in Sri Lanka, would return just for this!

Sommes restés 4 nuits, très beau logement, belle cuisine, tout est fonctionnel.Tres bon accueil de Nisha, toujours souriante et prête à vous rendre service. Elle a même adapté le petit déjeuner à la française qui est copieux ... elle a réservé un scooter pour nous, bus, tuk tuk à proximité, petite supérette de dépannage, très bon restaurant pas cher à 5 mn sur la plage. Nous recommandons fortement.

Donis place is one of our favourite places in Sri Lanka! We even came back a second time because we just love it here. The room is so clean and beautifully decorated, the bathroom as well and it smells so good:)) The best is doni herself. She made us an incredible breakfast every morning and let us use the washing machine for free! Also she is such a kind and caring person. She made us really feel at home! The area itself is really quiet and we could rent a scooter from doni to explore the beautiful beaches! I’m sure we will be back a third time if we can :))

We had a great stay. The location is an easy walk to the main beach and restaurant strip. The pool is a great addition and as it appears in the photos. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Swell was an amazing stay. We came during the offseason so some restaurants shops and options weren’t open as advertised not to the fault of swell, however, The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to keep us happy and satisfied. We loved our stay here. Highly recommended.
