We welcome you and support your travel in Kyoto. *This Shimoza-an is the lower unit of a two-story machiya townhouse. Although the second floor unit may be occupied by other guests, both units are private and have separate entrances. Booking both Shimoza-an and Kamiza-an accommodates up to 10 guests.

成就庵 (JOJUAN) Nearby World Heritage Nijo Castle

Thank you for viewing my listing. This is the second accommodation for my family, following Marutake An which is nearby. Just as family was delighted about the many guests who were pleased with Marutake An, which is a renovated Kyo Machiya, we found another Kyo Machiya very close. Therefore, we asked the same architect to renovate it to become this guesthouse, 成就庵. (However, my wife is the main one to communicate with guests for Marutake An, so we made separate accounts).

Centrally located Comfortable Machiya house

This house is almost 100 years old house and it has been just renovated in April 2017. The house was designed by the architect who loves the traditional machiya house. Close to subway Karasuma-Oike station, three stops from Kyoto station. Easy to do shopping, eating, sightseeing. Drug store and the grocery store is located in 5 minutes walking distance. This Taishian house is whole house rent and you don't share any room with others. Family and group welcome!!
