Great place! The beach is very quiet and during the week days in June it was basically private for us. The view is amazing. The location is a bit remote, and although the hosts were very kind to not leave us starving, be prepared with your groceries. The closest shop is 20 minutes away by car. The sea has amazing blue water. If you seek a bit of “get away from people” this is a definite go-to place. If you expect life, cities and beaches full with people and bars - don’t bother.

we hebben het heerlijk gehad! wat een leuk huisje! het is erg leuk ingericht, met veel aandacht voor creatieve details. we waren ook heel erg blij met de horren voor de ramen, we konden lekker alle ramen openzetten en de zeebries binnenlaten. het plekje is heerlijk rustig met het geluid van de kabbelende zee. Op het strandje lag wel veel afval uit zee, dat was jammer maar daar kan de eigenaar niets aan doen. het zwemmen was er niet minder fijn om en we hebben dolfijnen gezien vanaf het terras! kortom, zeker een aanrader.

Villa Penelope was just what we needed. A very quiet space right on the water and very relaxing. We enjoyed morning swims, afternoon kayaking around the bay, and eating on the patio around the water. We generally spent the day outside. The outdoor shower was so nice after the morning swims. The weather for our stay was not too hot. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed. Another thing to note is that there were no neighbors on either side during our stay, enhancing the privacy and quiet. If you do have mobility challenges this is not the place for you. The stairs to the bedrooms are small and steep and the bathroom is very small. Penelope is a wonderful host. She had prepared a meal for us on our arrival, was very informative on the house and local area. She was very responsive to our follow up questions. A lovely person and a generous host.

Maria's place was splendid! Beautifully furnished, it features a comfortable mezzanine double bed and a ground-floor bed, offering ample space. If you're looking for a truly lovely retreat in a quiet area, this is it. The secluded garden, shaded by a mulberry tree and equipped with comfortable tables and chairs, is a real highlight. Sleeping to the sound of the waves is priceless! Just across a quiet road, you're directly on the beach. Within walking distance, you'll find two excellent typical restaurants for meat or fish, plus breakfast spots. A daily bread and pastry van passes by with delicious treats. Maria is an incredibly kind and helpful host, always available but never intrusive. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return! Per Maria, il mio voto è 11/10! Grazie

Πολύ όμορφος και περιποιημένος χώρος, στην καρδιά του χωριού. Η θέα από το μπαλκόνι ήταν σαγηνευτική και απεριόριστη, καθώς ακριβώς μπροστά ήταν η θάλασσα. Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν άψογοι και είχαμε μια πολύ καλή επικοινωνία, χωρίς προβλήματα. Περάσαμε υπέροχα και τους ευχαριστούμε για την φιλοξενία!

Without a doubt, the BEST vacation we have ever had! Not only because of the stunning island, it’s friendly locals and the most spectacular villa (sporting the most beautiful views) but also because of the INCREDIBLE hosts. My sister and I both agree they made our trip extraordinary! Nothing was too much trouble and their hospitality was above and beyond. We are so grateful to have stayed here and are already planning our next trip back to this breathtaking villa (having only left a few hours ago!) Absolutely do not hesitate to book this slice of heaven, but be warned, you will not want to leave! And when you do, make sure to visit Ginfish, the coolest drinks spot on the island! We absolutely LOVED our stay at Dimitra and Ioannis’ place in Kalamos. The house is even more gorgeous than the pictures and we instantly felt at home. We especially loved the day bed (where our baby slept), the view (oh that view!) and the location. Kalamos is a beautiful, sleepy village off the main road with great beaches within walking distance (at least 4). Dimitra and Ioannis gave us incredible local recommendations for swimming, eating and other activities. Cannot recommend their place highly enough and will definitely be back. 10/10

Einfach ein Traum. Ein wunderschönes Haus direkt am Strand. Viel Privatsphäre, eine sehr hochwertige Ausstattung der direkte Blick aufs Meer machen den Aufenthalt unvergesslich. Die Terrasse bietet sehr viel Platz und ist mit Duschen, bequemen Liegen, einer gemütlichen Lounge und einem grossen Esstisch ausgestattet. Das Bett war sehr bequem und die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation war hervorragend. Yiannis war stets erreichbar uns Margarita & Sokrates haben sich stets um alles gekümmert und das Haus auch während unseres Aufenthalts regelmässig gereinigt. Eine traumhaftes Erlebis mit maximaler Erholung. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.
