That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Our cabin, "Bjørkeli", is located undisturbed in Engeskaret in Almestranda, and has panoramic views of the beautiful Vartdalsfjorden and the majestic Sunnmørsalps. Here you wake up to birdsong and can enjoy nature and morning coffee on the spacious terrace. The cabin has new, comfortable outdoor furniture, fire pan and barbecue. The place, Bjørkeli, is 50 years old. It has charm and a personal touch on furniture and interior. We think you'll be fine here.

You may be lucky to see a flock of sperm whales in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both large and small boats, as well as cruise ships on their way to/from Geiranger. The cabin is located 20 m from the lake, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep rocks and shallow depths. We have life jackets available.

Stabburet har strøm, men ikke innlagt vann eller toalett. Gjester kan bruke dusj og toalett i hovedhuset som ligger 30 m unna. Fantastisk sommerhus ved sjøen. Oppvarmet basseng, utendørs boblebad, 2 havkajakker, fiskeutstyr. Dette er plassen for familier som virkelig vil kose seg. Naust rett ved huset. Masse uteplass.
