Cozy cottage in Värnäs right next to Klarälven

The cottage is beautifully located next to Klarälven. In the surrounding area, there are nice hiking trails and good opportunities for fishing. A large forest area, with plenty of moose, begins near the house. A five-minute drive takes you to a small swimming pool with an associated beach and jetty. It takes 25 minutes to get to Branäs ski resort and an hour's drive to Långberget, with both fine hiking trails and ski trails. The cottage belongs to Länsmansgården, which was erected in the mid-18th century. The owners live on the farm.

Free wifi, hot tub, 3 meters from water, quiet and nice, close to nature, dishwasher, washing machine, terrace, private parking, shower and toilet, fireplace, floor heating and everything is newly renovated in 2020. Bed linen and towels should be brought yourself. Cleaning should be done before checking out and should be thoroughly done eg vacuum, dry the floors, dust-dry bathrooms and kitchens. You leave the house as it was when you arrived. Rowing boat is included in the cabin. You need to clean the house before you leave.

This unique home has its very own style that has grown up for the five years we rebuilt the barn. High ceilings and plenty of space both inside and out. Everything is new and fresh. What a wonderful stay your house Kronskogen (located half an hour above Torsby). It is really a gem for those looking for peace and nature. Quite secluded, in the middle of the greenery – you are really alone here with yourself. Exactly what we needed! The house has all the comforts: including games, towels, washing machine, a mega supply of wood, dryer and beds made upon arrival - so much was present. As a family of four, we felt very comfortable here. What beautiful memories we were able to make here during the two weeks we stayed there. Glenn was easily accessible and responded quickly to questions, which made the stay even more pleasant. We'd love to come back!

Maria and Janne are wonderful hosts. Very friendly and helpful and easily accessible. Also very nice to have personal contact with the homeowner again instead of a key safe. The house is wonderfully quiet and has all the comforts. Plenty of space for 2 families. 5 minutes from supermarket and small ski slope. Plenty of other activities in the region within normal driving distance. This house is definitely recommended as far as we are concerned.

Very cozy cottage, really lives up to the name Lugnet. Secluded in the middle of nature, right by the water. My partner and I celebrated Midsummer for ourselves out here and spent 1.5 days with everything we miss in everyday life. Swam and bathed, rested on the jetty in the sun, watched birds and tadpoles, rowed out on the lake, grilled well, lit the open fireplace in the evening and solved crossword puzzles on the sofa. The cottage was well equipped and prepared for our visit and the host couple was very nice and gave clear instructions. We will certainly book a visit again in the future and give our warmest recommendations!

We had such a wonderful weekend at Lottas charming and peaceful hideaway in the Värmländska forests. A perfect location if you want a secluded, primitive and calming experience. We especially enjoyed the sauna by the lake, sunbathing on the deck and playing cardgames surrounded by candles and the warming woodstove fire at night. Our dog loved it as well!

We had a wonderful stay with our family in the house and felt very comfortable from the first moment. The house was not only very clean and well maintained, but also equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and always easy to reach - you can tell that they care about the well-being of their guests. We can fully recommend the house and would like to come back anytime!

We stayed one night on our Way to the mountains. Calm and nice, great instructions and the cabins were heated when we arrived. Note that there is 3 beds in the larger cabin and 2 in the small.
