We had a great stay at Mamadou’s place in Dassilame Serere. The location is gorgeous, very tranquil, on the edge of the mangroves and surrounded by animals. It is a short Mototaxi ride from Toubakouta so it is very easy to get around. Mamadou and the other hosts were very accommodating and helpful. I hope to come back one day!

This accommodation is not just a place to stay; it's a complete immersive experience. Staying at Kankelling is like becoming part of a family and delving into their way of life, but it's also about actively participating in it. I spent three days learning and exploring a culture I hadn't even imagined before. I feel indebted for the entire experience and the additional knowledge that Muhammed imparted to me during my stay at his accommodation. I've learned so much. Book with him if you're ready to embark on a world of unparalleled experiences and discoveries in The Gambia.

Good Vibes Eco Lodge is a truly magical place. The location is amazing- it's quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. You are surrounded by beautiful nature, lush garden, birds, fruit trees, baobabs, and the nearby river. The lodge is beautiful. We felt extremely comfortable and cosy, it had everything we needed. Most importantly, Ami and her family are the best and kindest hosts we have met during our travels. They made us feel like a part of the family. Ami's food is delicious - probably the best we tried in the Gambia, and her place has become the highlight of our trip. We only wish we had booked a longer stay (5 days was not enough - I can guarantee you will want to extend your stay once you are there). We left feeling like we made some truly beautiful friends and I hope we will have the chance to come back one day.

We spent a wonderful time with Alfa those few days. The place was really clean and nothing was missing. We did a wonderful trip in the mangroves with the pirogue with Alfa who took his time to explain everything with care. I will also add that we had a wonderful typical Senegalese lunch with him and his wonderful family. This place is definitely worth the money, if you want to dive in the Senegalese culture, it’s the place to go!
