Welcome to our cozy, art-filled studio in Duncan, Cowichan Valley. Whether you're here to relax or explore, it's the perfect home base. The suite is beside our home, with full privacy. Enjoy a deck, hammock, and year-round private hot tub. Inside, full-equipped kitchen with granite counters, a propane range, and a bar fridge. It sleeps four with a queen Murphy bed and a queen loft bed, both with organic sheets. Stay comfortable with radiant floor heating, a rustic fireplace, and AC for summer.

Carriage House on the Rock is a two minute walk to Westwood Lake Park that offers world-class mountain bike trails and hiking. A cozy one bedroom carriage house that is fully appointed. A 6km walk around the lake, or if you are feeling adventurous, a 3 hour hike up Mount Benson and its amazing views are nearby. Only three km to downtown, & float planes to Vancouver. Walking distance to VIU, Aquatic Center, and Nanaimo Ice Center. We are centrally located but offer a quiet remote getaway.

Enjoy your stay in this cozy, bright one-room suite. The space features one full-sized bed along with a pull-out couch. A well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals. Property is surrounded by nature with Bright Angel Park right outside the back gate. Take your morning coffee, stroll along the trails and be at the river within minutes. While you are here and getting to know the ropes enjoy all the; local wineries/breweries, tea farm, fresh farm food, local artisans and marinas all within minutes of our location. Take a short walk down to the kayak rental if you’re feeling like you want to play in the water, or just enjoy laying on the beach.

Our 300 sq. ft. cottage is situated on a 2.5 acre property where we reside. The location is perfect for those who want to have a place to relax after exploring the local vineyards, farmers’ markets, parks, beaches and walking trails. The cottage’s style mimics that of the main house, which is about 60 feet away from the cottage. We respect your privacy, and will leave you to yourselves. We love meeting new people and are LGBTQ+ friendly!
