Kid-friendly holiday rentals in North Fork

Our group loved Jessica’s place. It was perfect for our Yosemite trip and we had everything we needed. Jesica provided lots of great suggestions for local activities and restaurants. Absolutely great host and place!

The house in Oakhurst is absolutely beautiful, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms are large and the views from both the living room and the master bedroom are to die for. Even if you’re not into hiking, just enjoying those views is a treat in itself. We caught a beautiful sunset on our first evening as we had spent most of the day hiking for the remaining days. The house had everything we needed and we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of a complimentary bottle of wine. The hosts were also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. One small note for those visiting from outside the US: the road leading to the house is quite dark at night due to minimal street lighting. That said, it felt completely safe and wasn’t a concern for us. Also, the house is about 1.5 hours from Yosemite Valley so it’s helpful to plan your day trips accordingly.

This place felt like a rustic weekend cabin which is exactly what I wanted. Lots of small wildlife right outside the front door. Very quiet and private place.

Only an hour away from Yosemite. This is a great stay!! it was very clean and had a full kitchen with all necessities you might need. Had great amenities and a nice lake near by. Dave was very friendly and helped us with all our needs. I would definitely recommend this stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this sweet home in Oakhurst. The home was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood felt very safe and was very quiet. We enjoyed the beautiful, private view from the deck. Stores and restaurants are located nearby. We loved the easy checkout. We have always loved this community and enjoyed our stay here. We saw reviews that the hosts were very responsive; however, we did not find this was the case for us. We also would have appreciated the home to be a little better stocked than it was for our stay. With that said, we appreciated the serene location and would definitely stay again in this cozy home.

Bill and Denise's guest house was wonderful. Our family had a great time staying there as a base for visiting Yosemite. There were so many nice touches, from the luxury bathroom products to the complimentary snacks, bottled water and milk, to goodie bags for the kids. We had so much fun with their air hockey, pool table, ping pong, and feeding a deer family in the morning. My 7 year old said that he wants to do the exact same trip again, including the Airbnb!

We had such a perfect stay at Maja’s home! The view is incredible, and the various decorations around the place give it a very cozy vibe. There’s plenty of space and things to do that we never felt bored. On top of this, Maja is very kind and clearly communicated everything our group needed to know. Definitely hoping to return here someday!

This is my favorite place to stay and my second time staying here! Cece's place is gorgeous, relaxing, peaceful, and the perfect getaway for when exploring Yosemite or the surrounding area. She is always helpful and so kind. I could not ask for a better place to stay or host and will continue returning!

The cabin in Oakhurst was very quiet and peaceful. The patio was especially nice. Charlotte was super helpful and a great host. It was the perfect location for spending a few days in Yosemite.

Apartment was great and a comfy place to stay for two nights. Ann was a responsive and proactive host. The air bnb is close to the highway for convenience but there was minimal road noise and it offered a peaceful stay!

we only stayed for one night and we got in late/started early so we didn't use a lot of the amenities but everything seems to be exactly as described! had coffee and snacks available, house was very clean. would stay again

We really enjoyed our time here. We loved that the kitchen had different spices to cook. we stayed mainly to visit Yosemite. Sherri had several Yosemite information books available too. The entrance to Yosemite is about 30 min. Sherri is a great host, she accommodated beforehand for a setup I needed. Thank you. Ps. If you are a light sleeper, then the noises from the people on the second floor might wake you up. Overall recommended.

Super cute, even bigger than it appeared in pictures! So cozy, we had a million quilts and would wind down each night.

Great stay! The place was clean and has everything we needed. Felt very peaceful and the host was very responsive. It’s about an hour and a half drive to Yosemite village, which ended up not being too bad!

Leigh’s place was one of the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at. The place was clean, easy to find, accurate as per the description on the website and close to the center of the town. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again if we are in the area. Furthermore, Leigh was prompt in communication, always willing to help. I forgot my something at the airbnb and Leigh helped me out with it. One of the best hosts ive seen so far!

Our stay was absolutely peaceful and relaxing. The host was incredibly friendly, super nice, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Communication was excellent , very responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Sally's place was a great home-base for skiing at china peak mountain, about 30 minutes away. we loved the place, it was large, comfortable beds, and thoughtful touches with coffee, lotion, extra blankets etc. The home was cozy warm and we would definitely stay here again!

It was a nice place and such a wonderful atmosphere. The home is so nice and just very homey. Easy check in, has all the utensils you’ll need, and easy to get to Yosemite! The Smokehouse Grille next door is so nice! It was easy to communicate with Terri!

We had a great stay and really enjoyed our time in the area. Aaron’s place was perfect to relax after a long day at Yosemite. The kitchen was very well equipped (even had a rice cooker) so that we can make some meals there easily. We have three children ranging ages from 11 to 4 and we felt that his place was very kid friendly. They absolutely loved the pool. Aaron was super responsive to any questions we had and you could tell he really cared about our experience.

Terry’s place was great, exactly what we needed. We were originally booked at an RV stay and an hour before check in they let us know that the shower was broken. We have a toddler and I was frantically trying to find a place nearby Bass Lake and luckily Terry accepted my reservation quickly and took us in! It was like a five star hotel compared to what we were going to be in! I’ve managed and cleaned airbnb’s for years and they thought of everything here. Lots of cute little touches and things for our son to play with, as well as coffee and creamer and little treats, and I really appreciated those extra touches. The only thing that bums me out is when we have to ‘clean’ up before check out… strip the beds, unload the dishwasher, take the trash out, etc. in my opinion that’s what cleaners and property managers are for, not guests, but that doesn’t take away from the nice house and experience we had here. Thank you!

This is our second time staying here and we love it. The place is spacious, comfy and clean. It’s right across the street from Save Mart Center and just a rocks throw away from some of the best tri-tip in the valley at Dog House Grill. The restaurant downstairs - Don Pepe’s - is also fantastic and convenient. We look forward to returning soon. If you’re staying in Fresno for a few days and need an excellent base of operations I’d suggest you book this place while you can.
