Cozy 1 bedroom 1 bathroom private home, just outside of town only a couple miles from the airport. Close to great trails for hiking and cross country skiing, but outside of town enough to get a great show from the Northern Lights. Newly updated with a quiet environment, perfect get away. Full size washer/dryer, and all kitchen needs. A beautiful Alaskan property which you can watch float planes land and take off from the private pond across the road. Large windows for great views! While not dangerous, a blocked air exchange vent created an unpleasant smell. All resolved now! ** At times during the winter, AWD or 4WD is REQUIRED.

This beautiful log cabin is situated in the woods on the outskirts of North Pole, Alaska. It is easily accessible in the winter months or in the summer. Guests don’t need to worry about the cold temperatures with the year round heating system. The cabin is cozy even in the coldest of winter temperatures. Cozy Cabin in the Woods

Galilee was an excellent host. To start, our GPS directions sent us the wrong way. We contacted her and she immediately responded and helped us find the cabin. The cabin was exactly as described. The inside was warm and welcoming. Even though it was almost April, it looked like Christmas inside with a small Christmas 🎄 Tree inside. Since we were in the city of North Pole, it seemed legit. There was some North Pole Coffee beans and a variety of snacks in the kitchen available for us to indulge in. The TV was adequate with a ROKU device installed to watch Netflix and other streaming options. The bedroom was upstairs and included some electric blankets and surprisingly cooler climate on the 2nd floor. This cabin was amazing and felt like a home away from 🏡 home. We hope to come back someday. Thanks Galilee!!

We loved our stay here! Not only is the place comfortable and a great location but the hosts were super helpful and friendly too. They recommended places to eat, things to do, and the best spot to see the northern lights. If we come back to Fairbanks, we would stay here again!

We stayed here for 8 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The towels and blankets all smelled like they just came out of the dryer, the house was super cute inside, and it had pretty much everything you could need. The only complaint I had was there were no screens in the windows, and it would have been nice to have fresh air. The mosquitoes were awful, so that wasn’t an option. That does NOT change my 5 ⭐️ rating. I’d absolutely stay here again if I make it back to Alaska.

Jon’s place was in great condition and had everything we needed for our stay. The house is 5 min from a small grocery store if you need anything quick and 15 min from North Pole town. We felt safe while we stayed there and were happy with how peaceful the neighborhood was. You can see the northern lights by just stepping outside. Jon even texted us at night to let us know we could see them which was super helpful. He was accommodating and always very responsive. Checkin and checkout were also very easy and we had no problems. I would recommend staying here

This is a perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful and quaint place to relax. My husband and I feel in love with the cabin immediately. Malia & her husband were so responsive and recommended places for us to hike and fish. We’ll definitely be staying again if we are ever in the area again.
