House holiday rentals in Northern Neck

We had a great stay—the backyard is beautiful and peaceful; the pool resort-quality and refreshing; kitchen well-equipped for preparing chef-quality meals; house full of interesting reads, artwork, and games. Everyone from 9 to 92 enjoyed the house. We also explored the neighborhood and found it close to all sorts of interesting places right out the front door. Would definitely stay again next time we come to Richmond.

Andrea was so responsive from day 1 when I had questions about the house! We had 10 people in town for a wedding and her house was only 3 miles from the venue which was ideal! The house was clean and had nice little extra touches; the bottom floor was surprisingly spacious and perfect for hanging out! And the hot tub was a nice add also! Overall, it was a great experience!

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything was exactly as described. Eugene was really responsive when communicating and super friendly! I would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you again for such a relaxing place to stay!

Clare and Chris could not be nicer and easier to work with. My family/friends have been getting together since 1994 and have been to many great Airbnb's and VRBO's. My group could not stop telling me how great of a week we had. The primary features that were import to us which the house scored big are as follows: It has a dock (we arrived via boat), The kitchen is big, laid out for many "Cooks", The kitchen was open to the dining room table, The dining room table is open to the sitting areas, The pool was clean and inviting, The fire pit with seasoned firewood was a big hit for our group, All the beds were comfortable, The bedrooms were large and comfortable, The baths were clean, modern & large and The location to "What to do in Cambridge" is only 7-10 miles away. We made prearrangements: Richardson Maritime Museum to have a guided tour with David Williams on Friday and Spocott Windmill with George Radcliff. Both of these tours were fascinating. Our weekend was 5-Stars.

Our family had such a great time staying at MJ's place last year that we came back again this summer. As before, we all loved the view, pool, firepit, grilling on the deck, and walking down to the neighborhood beach. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. All the beds were comfortable, and all bedrooms had well-functioning blinds/shades, which is really helpful when putting younger kids to bed. The lower level bathroom had been renovated since our last stay which was a great bonus. We are looking forward to returning next summer!

Of my many Airbnb stays, Laura’s comes up with the very best. Her home is lovely, inside and out, with a lot of fun activities to choose from. Located on a beautiful creek opening to wide water gave us a chance to explore in her kayaks and paddle board. Rainy weather meant indoor board games, reading etc on the beautiful protected porch. The kitchen had all sorts of amenities for cooking. Plenty of bedrooms for sleeping in the peaceful atmosphere. I can’t wait to return there!

Our family had beautiful weather on our vacation! Everything was as described, Mary & Shelly thought of everything. We would highly recommend.

The gothic style cottage is a perfect, inviting, poetic, lovely setting. Three of us stayed. With three bedrooms and baths it was the perfect size. We all loved it. We played games, went out to remarkable local restaurants and use the bikes. Super fun place to take a mini vacation. Irvington is a very culturally rich, yet quaint area. The meadow in front of the house is picturesque as well as the view from the screened in porch. In the morning having my coffee, listening to the birds was a memorable highlight. Thank you for providing a quality, clean, well-appointed, refreshing stay for us. Will keep this on my list of stays to repeat, thank you again. Debra

This was one of the best family vacations we have ever had. Charlie and Aliza were wonderful host. We brought our boat and were able to leave it in the water all week with no problems. The dock is perfect with running water and electricity. We caught crab and croaker all week from the dock. We also took our boat to the sandbar and the kids played for hours. Great place for kayaking and paddle boarding as well. Beds were comfortable and living rooms were spacious. You have water view from every room in the house. We will definitely be booking again.

We had such a nice visit! Ryan was very responsive to questions and requests. The house is very cute and perfect for a family with kids. Lots of toys and games and outdoor equipment - and a fun tree swing! The little sandy area was just right for our three kids (ages 1, 4 and 7). We ate all our meals outside on the deck overlooking the water. The neighbors were very friendly. Everything was great!

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation at Paws & Reflect! The pictures really do not do it justice! Dawn was very informative and responsive! The house was comfortable, beautiful and so clean. The game room was a blast and we enjoyed relaxing on the dock and the back patio. My little girl said this was the best vacation house ever!

Talk about being sad 😢to leave! Sometimes a location for an air BnB just hits it out of the park, and this is a great example. We LOVED our stay and took advantage of the yard and beautiful view daily! We fished off the dock and shore. Tip, since it is tidal water as long as you are on the shore or dock you don’t need a fishing license. Our pups loved the yard and going for a swim. There are a lot of great places to eat within a 30min drive. We were on a work trip, but would love to come back when we could take advantage of everything this place has to offer. It’s a gem! The surrounding area is fun to explore if you like antiques and boutiques. We loved the local vibe! You will have a great time.

Had a great weekend in the Northern Neck here! We watched a pod of dolphins and stingrays from the backyard, enjoyed easy access to nearby parks, and had a great time cooking in the kitchen. This is seemingly a very recently renovated house, and all the towels, sheets, beds, etc. seemed brand new as well. It was super clean, super comfy, and the hosts were very responsive! I liked that the property was surrounded on one side by forest as well—it was nice and quiet and secluded. Finally, they have a super cute collection of board games disguised as old timey books. I'd definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay! I loved the home. Place was super clean and very comfy. Lots of nice touches in house. Went out for dinner one night. Options are limited unless you are willing to drive 30 minutes. Chitterchats second scoop ice cream is a great spot to hit up. It is helpful to have shoes that can stay in the water. There are bugs if wind isn’t blowing, so plan accordingly. No sand toys on property. I’d probably bring some next time for kids. The gas is not propane but charcoal, something I didn’t realize til I arrived. Saw turtles, snakes, bald eagle, deer, bunnies and even a shark sighting.

We had a wonderful stay at Presley Creek! The house was clean and comfortable. The porch and with the ceiling fans was delightful! The kitchen had everything you’d need for preparing meals. The location was so peaceful. The property was huge and felt so private & secluded with woods and the water. We enjoyed the wildlife; geese, eagles, herons, otters. We brought our dogs, and they loved running and swimming! We brought all our food with us since we knew stores were not close. Also, if you want a beach, we found a little beach not too far called Vir-Mar, which has a very small public beach. Hughlett Point which is a bit farther is larger but very limited parking. If you are looking for a laid back vibe, I highly recommend this property!

We had a wonderful vacation here. Although it rained during our stay, we found the treehouse to be a great place just for listening the rain drops and having some inner peace.

This is our 2nd time being here and we were not disappointed! This house has a beautiful view. Pooja is a wonderful host. We were welcome with a basket of snacks. Kitchen and bathroom are fully stocked. Pooja provided more than enough for our stay and we had everything we need. House is clean and beds are comfortable. My family had a great time fishing and kayaking. Thanks Pooja for your hospitality!

My absolute favorite airbnb ever ! This was the 3rd time I've stayed here, and if I could afford it, I'd go monthly. The location is perfect, right on the water, small private beach, lots of privacy and soooo incredibly relaxing. The house is very well laid out, super clean and comfortable. Keri provides more than most hosts, from the kitchen and bathrooms, to beach gear, movies, books, games, and the kayaks ! I love love love this house and location so very much. It feels like "my" home away from home and I'll continue to go back as much as possible. THANK YOU again Keri, for another amazing getaway !

It is a wonderful, private and quiet location. Kayaking, fishing, crabbing, and all. Kristie was super responsive and helpful. I will be definitely returning.

Thank you Jim and Megan for making this beautiful home available for our vacation. I was impressed with the cleanliness and because I'm a fishermen I loved the bait house by the water. It literally had everything you needed to fish or do some crabbing. We really needed nothing other than our cloths to wear and books to read. I did bring my own kayak but I really didn't need to everything was provided. We really appreciate your thoughtfulness in things like the coffee bars in the kitchen and upstairs as well with also providing k-cups, flavoring etc. and extra tp:) This location was what we needed to rest and recharge. Once again, thank you.

it was an amazing place to say the least. Very elegant and homey at the same time. lots to do without ever leaving the house, but not far from the beach so there was so much to do. Highly recommend these folks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Guesthouse. The place is like a home away from home, with a well-stocked and modern open kitchen, games and other activities ready to play, and many ways to regulate the temperature of any area. We also appreciated that there were extra blankets and towels in case we needed them. It is a bit of a drive past the intersection in White Stone proper, but the drive is relaxed and interesting. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

The home is sweet, comfortable, and well-stocked. It is a bit of a drive to town and most of the food options, but the tradeoff is peace, quiet, and lovely river views. My co-worker and I stayed here for a work trip, but both remarked that we would love to come back and stay here for a restful vacation!

I rented Deborah’s place for my family so they could stay close by to my home in Urbanna. The house was spotless easy to find easy to get in and very well equipped. While the weather didn’t cooperate, there was plenty to do and the house feels much larger than it is due to the open floor plan and lovely decor. The house is less than five minutes from town and there is lots of shopping close by as well as several restaurants which we visited. We really enjoyed the quiet tranquility and the well-thought-out decor. One of the best Airbnb’s I have stayed in. We will be back!
