Holiday rentals with breakfast in Northern Norway

Its not usual to meet happy faces during pandemic, yet that’s what we got! Julien took all the care to ensure we are all good, together with our dogs. The house is specious and has everything you need.

Wonderful stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Annelise was friendly and responsive, making check-in a breeze. She even gave us some advice about places to visit! Would definitely book again!

We stopped with a baby and two teenagers on our way north. After a long drive, it was nice to go to the sauna, and to stay loose when they found their own space. The positive surprise was that we got the car in the garage. It was lovely to have a tasty breakfast belonging to the apartment. It was a great place to rest for our pop. It's nice to continue your journey rested. We'll definitely be back again. Thanks for your kind service!

The place is close to airport, is easy to find, there is space to park a car. It's clean and nice warm (we were here in the winter). Comfortable beds and morgan food in the fridge were waiting for us and it was super good (especially because we arrived late). Thank you very much Carita and Rolf for the recommendation of a walk. By renting the little cabin, Marianne and George open the door to their little paradise. In their place you will feel love, real nature and one of the most beautiful landscape ever, even the drive to and from Tromso is breathtaking. For people seeking a true experience in nature this is the perfect place. The cabin is remote, a step back in time, no mod cons and this is it’s beauty. A cosy, warm little haven in the beautiful wild. It is well thought out - all the instructions given by Marianne and George, and noted around the cabin ensure your stay is seamless and answers all the questions you might have - it is important to listen to them, especially as you are in the middle of the wild, responsible for your own warmth and staying in someone’s home. You are stepping back in time, at one with nature. This is a magical place. Marianne and George are kind and welcoming people. In the middle of an area flooded with guides and tourists and impersonal experiences they are a true find. Passionate about nature and the aurora, experts in the region (Marianne is a local). If you’re looking for other experiences whilst staying in the area - they are the perfect people to ask (especially aurora hunting). Going to the cabin is a truly unique experience. We are leaving with stars in our eyes and will definitely return.

Really enjoyed my stay at Hannu's place. The location is ideal, 5-10 minutes walk from the main shops and attractions. Hannu always responds to questions and was very flexible with check in, just need 30 minutes notice and was available. Everything is really clean, the apartment has great features and it was a very comfortable stay which also felt secure. Well equipped kitchen and useful facilities. Thank you very much, I would definitely recommend.

Located a bit from central Tromsö in a quiet and calm area, we stayed in this cosy and personal apartment provided with everything we needed, and more. For example food and snacks, a balcony and a bathtub. Much appreciated. Wonderful views of mountains, and fjords not far away. And a bus-stop within a couple of minutes walk. Sten-Viktor is the most nice, friendly, generous, helpful and thoughtful host you can imagine. Always ready to help, easy to reach, and is quick to answer any question you may have. We took a chance and came with a little short notice, and he was very flexible and made us feel so very welcome. A most recommendable place to stay!

We look back on a wonderful stay at Gjertrud's on Sommaroy. The location has a beautiful view and is quietly located right on a beach. We could easily park the car and also charge electrically nearby. We have used the sauna in the nearby hotel, which is really only a sauna and no other facilities. Breakfast was nice with Norwegian products and by Gjertrud homemade bread. We also used Gjertrud's dinner service once, she can cook well. The beds were a little narrow, which took some getting used to, but were wonderful and we slept well. We could control the temperature in the room ourselves with an electric heater, which went fine. When we stayed there, not all rooms were occupied, if that is the case, 1 bathroom in which the toilet is also in is difficult for me.

It was more than a pleasure staying with Ingebjørg. The house is really stunning - we wish we could have seen all of it! Ingebjørg is a great host - we enjoyed her breakfast and our talk a lot. Wish, we could have stayed longer. Hopefully, to another time!

We had the best countryside stay at Ari's... We booked Snowmobiling, nature trek and frozen waterfalls hiking trips with them and it was the best experience of our lives. It was an extremely personalized service and added 7 stars to our whole stay.

I was in transit with my motorcycle and felt very comfortable from arrival to departure. The room, as well as the common areas, was spotlessly clean and cozy. The washing machine and dryer for the guests are in perfect condition. It is worth knowing that these are in the only bathroom used by all guests. Since I checked in at 2:00 p.m., I was able to get my laundry done before other guests arrived. You can get coffee and tea from the machine all day. Breakfast is simple but offered everything I needed. Absolutely recommended!

We had an amazing stay at Sampo and Yann’s place. Their home is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by stunning nature. Yann’s breakfasts were delicious every day, and their sauna experience is a must-try. They gave us great recommendations for exploring the area, helped arrange a local guided tour, and even notified us when the Northern Lights appeared—we loved every moment! I highly recommend staying here.
