Cabin holiday rentals in Northern Norway

Really Nice location by the water, quiet place and beautiful nature and views. GREAT hot tub, clean and nice house!

We were looking for a place for a short stay, with easy access to various attractions in this part of Norway. Frank's house was perfect for that. It's located about two hours from Nordkapp and right by the scenic road to Havøysund. The house has a beautiful view over a river, fjord and mountains. The village is super calm and there's nothing to do there but we liked it that way. The living room is spacious and offers lots of comfortable places to sit - pillows on the windowsill, armchairs, sofa, take your pick. Wi-fi was super fast but its range didn't extend to the terrace. Frank's house is right across the river. That's useful if you need any help as he can come in two minutes. At the same time, this means less privacy as the two houses face each other. The bedrooms could use proper curtains and not just blinds because they still let in a lot of light through the sides (we used some blankets to make the bedroom darker; otherwise it was impossible to sleep in the summer).

We had a wonderful time surrounded by nature! Already upon arrival we felt totally comfortable in the cabin! The location right on the lake can't be beat in idyll! 😊 The accommodation offers everything you need for a break from everyday life. With the hot tub, sauna and barbecue area, you can make yourself comfortable even in colder temperatures. We dream of returning to this little paradise in nowhere at some point ✨ Pasi was also a great host, always within easy reach and he gave us a number of great recommendations and tips ◡for this unforgettable time!

Wow, what an amazing experience we had! The house had everything we needed and was super clean. The location was very good and calm, not far away from Leknes Airport. The whirlpool was pure luxury and the view over the mountains and the sea felt like a dream. The communication with Linda was very fast and easy.

A friend of ours recommended this amazing cabin to us. I had never stayed in such an outstanding accomodation. It's perfect for those seeking relaxation in beautiful nature or a departure point for unforgettable skitours in the Lyngen Alps. Or both things in the same time as in our case :)

we had everything we needed. the house is stunning and well equiped. you have everything beginning with a fire place, a hot tub, a sauna. a bit of a minus is the location. there are many street light because the house is in the middle of a skiing area. if you want so see the northern lights clearly i would sugest going to a more remote place

Amazing seaview! Location was totally peaceful and suitable for enjoying nature, Västerålen and even Lofoten. Easy to drive eg. to whalesafari in Andenes. The cottage was functional, cozy and well equipped. Irene communicated well and quickly. She even informed us about night-time road closure, which was essential to us. We had totally relaxing stay!

This was our first time in Lofoten. Everything exceeded our expectations. The house was absolutely gorgeous. We wish we could have spent more time in the chairs, looking out the windows, but unfortunately had too much to do. We did tons of driving, but it was a great location for us.

Visited Bente’s fantastic cabin for the 4th or 5th time - we just love the view and the location is very good for ski touring especially in the northern part of the Lyngen area.

Great cosy place, small kitchen but everything you might need :) lovely hikes nearby and fun pool table and ping pong in the shed next to the house.

It was beautiful there! The location is a dream and Andreas helped us with so many things and answered all questions very quickly and took the time to explain everything to us. We were able (also thanks to his help) to see 4 moose very close to the house and were allowed to use the canoe. Would go again immediately!

Idyllic little cottage on the shore of a peaceful lake. Versatile outdoor activities nearby, including the Bear Tour and Ruka's nature trails. This is a great place to recharge your batteries in the midst of nature. Highly recommended!

a great place for those seeking peace and harmony. we slept really soundly inside the log walls and enjoyed the lovely river landscape so much. Lovely cottage and great setting to rest and vacation and best of all so close.

Amazing. We loved the place. Insane views, actually better than the listing photos, the bed was supportive and great to sleep on. If we were to be picky to find fault, we would have loved to have had a microwave, but we knew this when booking, so still 5stars from us! Really amazing!

This stay was by far one of our absolute favorite Airbnbs! The cabin is beautifully designed, spacious, and perfectly situated to take in the breathtaking views of the seaside. Sitting in the cozy living room, watching the ever-changing scenery through the large windows, was an experience in itself—especially since we were lucky enough to see both the northern lights and whales during our stay! The location is wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by nature with almost no neighbors, yet still conveniently close to Tromsø. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals while enjoying the incredible views. The bedrooms were comfortable and everything felt clean and modern. If you're looking for a relaxing escape with stunning scenery and the chance to see incredible wildlife, this is the perfect place. We can't recommend it highly enough and would love to return one day!

We enjoyed our stay, and there was everything we could expect from a cabin experience. We loved the sauna and the chance to have a dip in the lake. There was almost everything we needed, except for the vine bottle opener, which the owner kindly offered to bring it to us almost straight away. Beautiful cabin by the lake we can definitely recommend!

Excellent accommodation that manages to be both stylish, luxurious and cozy, and where the beautiful forests of Ylläs are right outside the deck. Unforgettable!

This is our first time in Norway and Lofoten, and we'll definitely be back one day!

We loved the unique location and tranquility. Kari was very proactive and provided us with information and tips for excursions. A few snacks were also ready for us. The kitchen is very well equipped. We were also allowed to use the small rowing boat. The sauna with panoramic views is great. The camping shower was okay. It is portable and you can also take a shower outside. A greater water pressure in the kitchen and bathroom would be desirable. There the water comes directly from the creek. Drinking water has provided Kari & Inge in canisters. For a secluded Hytte on the fjord, it's well-equipped.

The cabin is located directly on the fjord, surrounded by a green meadow and adjacent forest – a true natural paradise that invites you to relax and explore. The location is beautiful and offers tranquility as well as spectacular views of the different colors of the fjord and the mountains. The accommodation is very spacious and offers more than enough space for a larger group. The furniture is appealing and cozy, so you immediately feel comfortable. Particularly noteworthy is the fully equipped kitchen, in which you could easily cook for a larger number of guests, as well as the cozy and imaginatively designed seating area.

A wonderful, warm, and memorable stay! We had such a wonderful time at Lisa’s unique, romantic fisherman’s cabin! The place itself is cottagecore — a charming cabin right by the water, with stunning views and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. What made our stay truly special was the kindness and generosity of Lisa, Tor Erlend, and their kids. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable — from providing warm blankets for airports, bringing us coffee, offering rides in days that buses r off, and helping us to stay warm. It felt more like staying around friends farm than just a rental. The whole family came together to create a warm, welcoming experience for us, and we left with wonderful memories we’ll treasure for a long time. We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you Lisa, Tor Erlend, and kids, for making it all so beautiful!
